I got this for my 1-year-old pillow top hybrid mattress that was too soft. I am a side-sleeper and started waking up with numbness in my fingers and pain in my shoulders. Before spending $1,000+ on a new mattress, I thought I’d try this to see if it could balance out the soft, sinking feeling that was causing pain and difficulty sleeping. I am incredibly glad I took the chance and bought this! It’s firm but not hard—exactly what I was hoping for. The top gives just enough and the bottom provides the firmness I desperately needed. I slept on this after unpacking it 5 hours prior. It was the best sleep I’ve gotten in months. The following night was even better. There was no detectable odor and the adjustable straps ensure it’s secure. I appreciate the top cover as it will protect my mattress and the foam topper. I did purchase extra deep sheets to accommodate the additional height this added to my 12” mattress. I highly recommend this topper if your current mattress is too soft and you’re looking for some additional support. It’s worth every penny and has drastically improved my sleep.

I got this topper because my bed was sinking. I was perfectly fine but my boyfriend was complaining about it and requested this for the bed for when he sleeps over. It was easy to set up. He had no issue with the heavy weight of the mattress. We left it on the bed and went to run errands. After 5 hours, we came home and decided to check on it. It was firm from the start but it felt more settled in. My boyfriend slept comfortable. My elbows when I am laying down my stomach doesn’t hurt. It’s pretty amazing. Solid bed. Doesn’t slip. The value is great.

So I have a brand new DreamCloud bed which has great support but wanted just a little foamy cushion between me and the mattress. I have severely herniated disks in low back and neck and a soft memory foam pad isn't hard enough. The reviews for this were the best I'd seen for back pain which is why I bought it but it was firmer than my mattress was and seriously hard as a rock! It came in a smallish box, all compressed, and when I unrolled it it inflated into a 4 inch slab of concrete which almost had no give. I can't believe that the pictures they have of something sinking into it are correct because this thing is solid with no give. Super hard to move around cause it's like a stiff piece of combersum wood which I almost broke my overhead light with due to trying very hard to just flip it over in order to use the "soft side". There is no soft side. They are the same hardness and way uncomfortable. It's so hard in fact that I have no way of returning it because it won't even fold in half! Id have to find a box the size of a 4 inch thick, queen sized mattress and I don't know where the heck I'm going to find that. What am I supposed to do company? Please let me know cause I'm dying to know how to get rid of this thing... I guess I could chop it up into little pieces and send them back in a refrigerator box?? Please advise. Sincerely, Drew
