  • Not bad for the price.
Size: 12 x 12 x 9'
Not a bad gazebo for the price. Strong, steel supports. More durable than the pop-up canopies. With that said, there are issues to be prepared for. Using tent stakes is not acceptable if planning to keep up (which you should since nuts/bolts hold everything together). I anchored mine with the corkscrew anchors Shelter Logic sells. Gazebo hasn’t moved in two years. Assembly time is 2-hours max, with 2 people). The canopy will deteriorate over time. Sun, wind and rain will weaken the fabric. Year one, the fabric held up but you can tell it’s weaker by the end of the season (I keep it up Memorial Day thru October). Year two, the fabric was shredded by the end of the season. I purchased a replacement cover for $80 + shipping thru Shelter Logic. (Beware, sometimes they are out of stock). The steel frame coating did get faded over two seasons. I decided to paint it (Rustoleum), which should last a few years. (See pictures). I hang lights with Command Strips made for outdoor lights. DON’T hang using anything that will touch the fabric. It will act like sandpaper and wear out the fabric, unless it’s absolutely smooth. (I used Velcro straps 1st year and found out the hard way). Bottom line: A nice canopy for the price. A lot more sturdier than the pop ups. Best to leave frame up year round, properly anchored. Be prepared to buy a new canopy cover every other year (or yearly if a 60+ mph wind storm came thru and you don’t take cover off). If you don’t want to deal with this, buy one of those gazebos with a steel roof for $1,500 or a $100 pop-up canopy. Tip: Spray the nuts and bolts with WD-40 to help prevent rusting. Reapply yearly. Has a hook at the inside top center, to hang something. Update 05-2022. Starting 4th season with gazebo. Only thing is you have to buy a new top every summer. ... show more

  • Sturdy Gazebo
Size: 11' x 11'
We put our gazebo up about 10 days ago. So far we have had lots of rain, some wind and sunshine. This gazebo seems to be much sturdier than my last gazebo but time will tell. We live on a windy hilltop so my last two gazebos (different brand) were put up in June and both broke from the winds in February. Again, this one has sturdy legs and I expect it to last longer but I will update my review if not. The canopy kept out almost all of the rain-only a few spots where big drops of rain came through. I added curtains from my last gazebo to dress this gazebo up a little. The curtains don’t meet at the top so they won’t provide any bug protection but I just use them for the look anyway. While advertised as an 11’ gazebo, it is actually a 10’ gazebo thus I subtracted a star. Also, a couple of the poles had dents but they don’t show now that it’s put together. It takes two-three people to put it together. Update: We’ve had this for a few months now and the fabric canopy has already faded to an ugly pale pinkish brown so I am removing a star. Tonight we had a windstorm and had to take the cover off. We needed a ladder and a flashlight. With two people it took over ten minutes to remove. Update: 2 years later and the metal structure is very sturdy! I am impressed. The only problem is the sun destroyed the fabric canopy in less than a year to the point where it fell apart at the seams. The company sent us a new one and so far it’s holding up fine. ... show more

  • Great value for money
Size: 11' x 11'
Went up within 2 hours, took 3 people. The quality is good for the price. Only time will really tell. So far it has held up in wind and rain. Although there hasnt been a storm yet. We opted to bolt the legs to our deck. However if youre planning on staking this into the ground you will need better equipment then what is provided. The ONLY complaint we have is the sidewall. When manafactured it had to have been sewn the wrong size. We where near to ripping the material until we realized it just wasnt sewn the proper size. Overall its a good cheap fix for shade. ... show more

  • Great Idea, Typical ShelterLogic execution...
Size: 11' x 11'
This is the worst ShelterLogic product I have ever used. Packaging is poor, I had damage to one of the upright poles and bent cover supports. The fastener package that SHOULD have been inside was handed to me by the UPS guy, who said one of the package handlers wasn't sure if it went with this but made an educated guess and sent it along with him, I'm glad he did his job right. Ok, this product suffers from someone with a great idea, a good design on paper, and then total crap build quality like nearly all their Chinese made products. The center support for the cover had the pole receivers not only misaligned before "welding" but also rotated so that even when perfectly squared off when assembling, nothing actually fit perfectly together. As another reviewer mentioned, assembly washers are woefully inadequate and should be replaced. Oh and be careful not to use more force than a toddler can muster tightening the bolts or you'll crush the thin walled, low quality extruded, internally unsupported aluminum construction. On to the fabric, I have ten year old underwear with more staying power. Not only can it not stand up to a 20mph breeze without stretching it's own seams so you can see light through every. single. hole. It also isn't water repellent to any degree, stretches far too much for as thin as it is, seams are single stitched and some have so little tolerance you can see right away that this thing won't last. If you do decide to buy this, here's some pro tips: -buy new washers for assembly -buy a bad of small bungee cords, you will need them to keep the side/flip up panel in place during storms, the god awful snaps on it are pure junk, and mine(3 weeks old) are already rusting. Even Velcro would have been a better choice. -buy auger anchors (15 inch deep at least) and a 4 piece ratchet strap set and just resolve yourself to seeing that all the time if this isn't screw anchored into concrete. Also try to get the anchors from someone else, I snapped the auger plates off two of the ones I had from these guys because they are so poorly booger-welded, like everything welded in this kit. Honestly, I like the idea of this product. Had it been sold WITH the auger anchors, straps, better hardware, and a durable cover that can stay in place on it's own, then I'd be happy. As it stands, it's actually worth about half or less of the asking price. EDIT after a couple months: So we had hurricane Ida bearing down on us, and I started packing up to prepare. I got to the canopy, and while the top came off fairly easily and was stored away. The side panel was another story. The cheap fastners(single and double buttons) they use are prone to rusting very quickly, and weren't the smoothest buttons to begin with as far as ease of use. Once slightly rusted however, they do a good job of wanting to be PERMANENT! See my above pics to see what happened when I simply tried to unsnap them. Also note the residue on the frame, this is the lighter colored coating on the canopy fabric being washed away by light rain seeping through the canopy cover. Docking a star over all this. ... show more
