Sharpie Gel pens have been my favorite pens for a few years now. They just glide when writing on almost any type of paper (I have had issues with other pens not writing wel on paper with certain coatings, particularly post-its). The 0.5 and 0.7 sizes are absolutely great, I find that the 0.37 can be a bit scratchy on some surfaces. Lots of ink in each pen unlike some of the competition, however it isn't waterproof. These pens have a great design and are slender enough to easily store in your purse without taking up too much space. The grip is comfortable, and the sharp point makes the writing flow smoothly. It does take a little while to get consistent ink flow, so it doesn't work perfectly right away, but once it does, it’s great!
