I love these pens! They have a substantial feel to them and are ergonomically designed to be slightly thicker and more comfortable to grip than a regular ball-point pen, especially if you have a lot of writing or note-taking to do. The feel of the tip on the paper is smooth and flowing (kind of a cross between a felt tip and a ball point pen). The ink -- which you can get in multiple colors, including black, blue, red, purple, and green -- flows smoothly and provides a crisp, clean line which on most smooth finished papers does not bleed (widen) significantly nor bleed through. Also, like the regular Sharpie pens, except on glossy papers or non-porous surfaces, the gel is dry pretty much instantly, but without the classic smell often associated with a standard Sharpie. My pens have always been black with a metal "waist" band the color of the ink, or silver for black ink. Good value for the money but CAVEAT (WARNING): My coworkers seem to like them at least as much as I do, so they (my pens) have a habit of sometimes wondering off, so I have to keep an eye on them. We all have that favorite pen that we don't lend out bc it writes really nice...this is that pen for me. It's all I use at work...I even put my name on it so people know IT'S MY PEN. Not it's not always perfect, it does sometimes get air bubbles trapped in the ink and it stops writing... but simple fix...get some hot water, immerse ink cartridge into water and watch for the air to move to the top of the cartridge, give it a couple flicks with your fingers and it works just fine again. I go through a pen every 6-8 weeks so I always have them in stock at work in my drawer...hidden of course so nobody takes the good pens that I buy for myself with my money. ... show more

Nice solid writing pens with good flow and comfort. These along with Papermate Inkjoy pens have been our favorite pens. My wife is a server so we know these are good because people abscond them all the time :) The Inkjoys are our number 1 buy, but these are a very close 2nd.
