ASIN: B00QHAMEBU. Cost is $10.47 for 10 colors. Like a fool I requested an RMA. Here's the reason. If you look at the picture, you seem to see pastel colors. I love and drool over pastel colors. I was shaking with anticipation as I opened the tray. As I sampled each color I became angry and disappointed because of this: 1) the ocean blue is>navy blue with a drop of white paint mixed in; 2) the lilac is>purple with maybe grey mixed in; 3) the pastel pink is>dark mauve; 4) silver is>actually silver; 5) yellow is>deep dark gold; 6) light sea green is>dark ocean green; 7) pale lime green is>grass green with a drop of black paint; 8) bubble gum pink is>dark dusty rose; 9)peach is>peach with lots of black mixed in; 10)yellow is>deep dark gold. So you see what the colors morphed into. I used them first on a 'glossy' finished coloring book. That's when I rushed to get my RMA. Hours later I decided since I had an open package, I might as well try them on my coloring book with a finish referred to as 'paperback'. This finish bleeds much more than the glossy books. That's when I fortunately saw the true beauty of these pens. The ballpoint is so perfectly rounded for smooth dispensing of the ink. The ink itself flows out like a silky ribbon being unfolded. Once your colors dry, run your finger over them. You will have a tactile experience that other pens do not give. There must also be quite a bit of ink in these pens, as I never saw the quantity dip much. The ink is quick drying, thus eliminating chances for smudges. So I am keeping my pens as Snow White's purple/bubblegum pink looks pretty fetching; and the Prince has beautiful green on cuffs. I think if you are an artist, which I am not, you will probably love these pens much more than Costcos, Blick's or Sharpies. IMHO these pens are in a class by themselves. The others have their good points, but these Sukara's stash apart.

This is my first set of gellyroll pens and they’re gorgeous, the ink is very thick and writes well, without any skipping. It’s really pretty if you test it on various surfaces, or in the reflection of light. I added a video of each color I tested. It comes with two gold ones by the way. The red one is more of a pink, but it doesn’t matter they’re so shimmery metallic and kawaii. Overall would recommend. Very fun writing pens, why use boring blank pens when these exist.

I really like this brand for it always works well. In this particular set the metalic gel pens write smoothly and continuesly. It has a nice reflective shine. I am able to color on top of each other. I am able to color over Prismacolor Premier colored pencils. There is No railroading, No skips. The ink is on the heavier side when coming out but it covers really well and dries nicely. You must know this set comes with 10 pens but only 9 colors. There are 2 gold pens in each set. It's expensive for only 9 colors. In my pictures you will see white spots not covered. That was intentional. I wanted white spots. You can see in the princes hair that I colored on top of another to give his hair two toned. It is not a fine tip and I had a hard time and sometimes couldn't do intricate details of this 4x6 coloring sheet. Which I already knew, but this was what I had on hand. I mostly wanted to show you shine and a swatch sheet.

I have a sister that doesn’t really like gel pens but this one she actually loved. The quality on gelly roll are of course pretty good (I own many on them) the pen writing is great, the pen is thin but still great the design is pretty and it never dries out fast like other pens, it functions properly and never messes up. I saw an artist using these pens on YouTube and was curious for myself. So I ordered them and their cost was about $14 with the tax. They arrived same day, which was great. They are gel pens so they write like smoothly (though I still am going to stick with my roller ball for regular handwriting). As far as art, they seem like they are very nice for an accent, but I wouldn’t use them as my primary tool. I did make a doodle page in my journal last night, however, to try them out. I really like the way the blue and the aqua colors look; I think they may be my favorite. The one with the yellow cap (051) is a metallic gold, rather than yellow, and this set comes with two of that color. Which makes sense because I tend to use metallic gold a lot in artwork; it makes a very nice accent. I seem to recall one reviewer commenting about air bubbles in the ink, though to be fair it may have been another pen. (I look at so many reviews on Amazon! Lol literally reading reviews tends to be almost a hobby and wish I could comment on many of the reviews like Reddit!) anyway, I bring that up because I did notice sometimes while I was filling in some spaces that the color would stop maybe with a small air bubble. It wasn’t significant, but I’ve only had these pens for one day, so who knows. But then again, they’re not super expensive. Although these pens are plastic, the barrel is somewhat tapered, which gives it a slightly richer feel. I like the way they feel in my hand, which is important if you’re going to be using a pen for a decent length of time. They remind me of pens I used to find at the stationery store when I was a little girl in the 1980s. They have a Hello Kitty vibe to them. Lol. I noticed that they do not color that well on top of each other. As you can see from my doodle page, I tried to use the silver one on top of a few other colors. My idea was to make a scribble in the purple and tawny colors, then draw silver lightning bolts over it. But the silver lightning bolts would not work because the increase to transparent. It also did not seem to set on top as nicely. So I will be going back to my acrylic markers for that sort of thing. I also tried them out in a spot over acrylic paint markers. I wanted to see if they would show up. They did in some parts just adding a slight sparkle. More like a metallic sheen. The point is not thin enough for my every day writing, as I prefer a fine point, but they will make nice headers in my bullet journal. I also may use them for proofreading documents at work. They could add a little pizzazz. I’m not giving them five stars because I’m not blown away by them. Could I live without them? Yes. Do I regret paying $14 for them? No. Am I going to use them moving forward? Yes. Am I going to enjoy using them? I hope so. That’s the plan. If you have a bullet journal or another journal that you like to be artsy just make it look pretty, I think you will like these pens. If you are an artist, looking for something to give your canvases pizzazz, you may have better luck with metallic acrylic markers that are opaque. Regardless, I like these pens, and they are cute. They feel nice in my hand, and the colors are fun.

The colors are nice. They glide smoothly don’t bleed through much. Gelly Roll pens can run out fast if you use them for note taking but it’s worth it. Always keep the cap on the pens otherwise they dry out. But, if you put the cap back on after a period of time and let it sit for a while they will work again. I had gelly rolls pens that I got probably 10 years ago and sorta forgot about and started using them recently and they still worked. I finally ran out of those ones and bought these new ones. What I like best about these pens is the glide and width of the ball point. If you happen to experience skipping of the pen, especially near the end of the ink, you can tap the ball point end down on a paper a few times to help compact the ink/paint down to get it to work better. I also consider the orange in this package to be more of a rose gold than a true orange and it also comes with 2 gold pens.
