Really nice pens. The colors layer well, but heavy application will definitely stay wet for a few minutes. Smears pretty easily. Good vibrant color against black, will also show up on white paper too. Good for note takers, journals and scrapbooks

I have a sister that doesn’t really like gel pens but this one she actually loved. The quality on gelly roll are of course pretty good (I own many on them) the pen writing is great, the pen is thin but still great the design is pretty and it never dries out fast like other pens, it functions properly and never messes up. How could anyone give less than 5 stars! The best of the best: absolutely perfect! So solid, opaque and smooth! Each one of the Sukura Gelly Roll pens is a real luxury pen! Amazing to add to soo many art mediums!

I would rate these a 5+ if they ink dried faster. The color of the ink is gorgeous and I love how it shines on dark / colored paper. The write super smooth as well. My only issue is the ink stays wet for too long and I have a lot of smudges in my planner.

By far the best brand of gel pens out there! The glitter caps throw me off a bit since they’re metallic gel pens but still consistent with the brands quality of ink. The darker colors look great on neon/bright paper!

I bought these at least 10 years ago (picture/swatch is from 2025 though). The colors are still just as vibrant and the ink has only dried out in 6 of the “classic” colors. I use them a few times, put them away for months, then go back to them and they work just as well EVERY time! Yes it may take some rolling to get the ink going if you let them sit for a long time, but only 6 have completely dried out after all these years and I think that’s amazing compared to the lower quality gel pens I’ve bought in the past. I remember beating myself up for the price when I first bought them, but I promise it’s worth it. So many different colors, types, and even thickness. No repeats unless the pen comes in 2 different sizes, then you get both. It also comes with the “Clear” pen and that one is usually sold separately. It’s a great investment because these are the best quality gel pens you can get. (Attached picture is a January 2025 swatch of all except the 6 non-functioning pens.
