Great price for a lightweight DOT helmet

I’ve been riding motorcycles for many years and have had quite a few helmets. I purchased this one as an upgrade from my bicycle helmet that was aging out. Since I used it for riding e-bikes and scooters that can achieve higher speeds, I wanted something more robust, and this helmet is perfect. It’s DOT approved, lightweight and comfortable, and fits my oval head shape very well. It’s also not as easy to find helmets in size small, but it’s available in this model. I love the flip down visor and it works perfectly with my regular glasses to keep the wind and dust out of my eyes. I love that it has a removable and washable liner. The chin strap and quick release are great, and the whole helmet has a premium build quality feel. I’d recommend it if you are looking for great value in a lightweight helmet of this style, and don’t need the heft and protection of a full-face.

Great looking Helmet

These run a bit big! I usually wear XL and a L is just about right. I believe Medium would be tight. Helmet is light weight and appears to be durable. The Extra D Ring to Lock it up is a great addition. A few of my other helmets with the new strap system do not have the D Ring making it difficult to lock up the helmet if you are not taking it with you when you leave the bike.

Love the visor!

Very impressed with this helmet. It is light weight and very comfortable. No venting through the top of the helmet but I like the fact you can wash the liner. The visor is the perfect size. It comes down easily with one hand and blocks the sun without touching the bridge of your nose. Hard to beat at this price imo.

Not Good Enough

XXL fits very large to unsafe. Weight is good/light. Chin straps works well. Minimal padding towards comfort. Initial Appearance well done. Mushroom head look when worn. The sun visor is poorly angled, faulty functioning and flimsy at the connection points. The more I've worn this helmet, the more I wear it, the more I regret the purchase. I initially reviewed it as good enough. Upon further review.. do not buy.

I usually a never find a helmet big enough for my giant cranium! Literally have a xxx large head! My head is so big I have my own satellite system. I look more like an astronaut on my bike 😀 so I was pleased when the xx large fit perfectly. Seems like great quality very pleased with my purchase!! I’ll be dreaming of wearing my new helmet while I’m asleep tonight on my giant pillow!!

Good Fit Functions as described

I found it to be well made and ordering the size going by their measurement chart was spot on. No difficulty with the visor. Visor has a side pull tab for pulling it down or pushing it up. Keeps the fingers off the lens. Visor has very minimal to no distortion. With riding glasses and auto darkening will probably only use it in day to deflect some rain. Put on some huge safety glasses and don’t see how any kind of glasses could hit it. Once adjusted the quick release seems easy to use with very minimal effort. My only complaint with this helmet is the advertised weight. Weight advertised is 1.54 pounds. Actual weight is 2.27 pounds. Don’t see that being a deal breaker for me. Have a brand name helmet of basically the same as this helmet that weighs in at 3.61 pounds. Will try it and see how it goes. Including a video of the helmet on a set of certified digital scales. Hope this helps with your purchase of this helmet.
