  • My new go-to sparkly pens
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 8) Style: Sparkle Pop Pattern: Pen
These are the most sparkly pens I ever used. Write well, very smooth feel with crazy spark. Colors look different in white and black backgrounds. Color variety was good, I wish there was a red pen; orange dries almost gold. I also wish the purple was less blue, more of a light violet color. But I am super happy with these pens, will probably never go back to other glitter pens. (Gold and silver not showing well in the picture on black background, but in person there is a good contrast) ... show more

  • Number one gel pens out there
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 8) Style: Sparkle Pop Pattern: Pen
I own a whole lot of gel pens. I have tried all different kinds. While there are really good ones out there these are hands-down the best. The glitter is absolutely gorgeous. They go on very smoothly and they dry quickly. I absolutely love these gel pens I will buy them over and over again.

  • Good overall
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 8) Style: Sparkle Pop Pattern: Pen
These pens are so pretty two things though the black one is not glitter or sparkly 😕 it’s just black ink and the silver one skips and is not as smooth as the other

  • Versatile Milky, Pastel Gel Pens
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 8) Style: Milky Pop Pattern: Pen
These medium tip (relatively bold) milky pastel gel pens are fabulous on both white and black paper. The purple, blue, and pink are the most opaque of the 7 in this pack. They write very smoothly and rarely require a scribble to get started, unlike some other brands. The color of the ink dries down to the same color as when first applied and still wet. If you go over the same spot a few times, it will build in opaqueness. The ink also plays rather nicely over black marker and white-out (see photos), which is beneficial to know if you plan on using these to color, draw/paint, and/or write. The white color is nearly indistinguishable from the white Sakura Gelly Roll 10 (#50/31031), and the other colors in this pack are very comparable in most ways to Sakura's Moonlight pens of similar colors. These do not, however, compare to Sakura's 3D Souffle collection. With these being relatively bold pens and having such smooth, generous ink flow, the ink will be used up pretty quickly - but this is not a unique issue for pens such as these. You'll have that with any other pen with similar traits. They dry somewhat quickly, in comparison to other milky-opaque gel pens. Overall these pens are very nice. I will continue to use them for journaling AND drawing/painting/coloring. ... show more

  • Great! I’d purchase again!
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 8) Style: Sparkle Pop Pattern: Pen
My favorite is the blue to purple sparkly one! I never knew what it looked like until some one used it in a thank you note, then I bought 3 individually from Michael’s art and crafts store after that. Before that I had seen a similar kind/pack at hobby lobby but didn’t try them out. There are two packs available here through Amazon of this set, which I appreciate and as someone pointed out they are exactly the same but the other set are just slimmer… which I’d like to purchase as well. I went with this set as I already knew my comfortability in writing with one of them. I put off this review to have a photo to add.. well photos later. That said, you’ll definitely see the effects and ink better in person!!! Rather than what a photo can share, probably even the same with a video. If you want to maximize space and have the pens take up little room vs other items or space you can get the slimmer ones, also depends if you want to write with a slimmer pen or not. I have yet to get those and look forward to it. The ones I have work fine now, the pens themselves state a tip on using them if the ink isn’t flowing add a bit of pressure to the pen tip 🖊! I like them all, glad I got them and they are available here. Also if you plan to do anything like cursive or neat writing these aren’t necessarily for it but if you’re practiced maybe you could make it work after practicing with them, that’s up to you but the ink is flowy and a thick line so not necessarily good in small space writing and can take time to dry. It would be really cool as well if there were a set that were quick to dry and fine lined ! Try them out on white and black paper (: Originally reviewed August 3, 2021, an update January 2023. Adding photos, also I discovered there is a pack available through Amazon with all purpleblues 😏 I have not yet purchased that pack but I know I will!!! On one of my pictures, the one on white paper, the pink pen needed to be pressed down a little to to ‘revive the ink’ as the pens refer to on their individual casings, so a good timing for an example where you can see the difference should that occur with your pens that still have plenty of ink. It says tap but I just have them sit in one spot with a little pressure, as needed, like the opposite of a pen that bleeds through paper, or these when they are working smoothly. On black paper they look more like ONE tone of a color, I noticed the green and blue looks VERY alike, (blue) on black paper-I wasn’t sure if I used the blue or green first/twice. On white as I usually use them and have mostly used purple… they have more of a hint of 2 colors and green/blue don't look like the same color but as the color they are. ... show more
