I'm in the middle of doing my Christmas cards and had to stop to share the joy! I thought gel pens were for kiddies but I took a chance because of previous dissatisfaction with other gold pens. Was a little afraid these would look glittery, but they are metallic so they shimmer a little but not tacky. Previous gold ink pens - even super popular brands and expensive pens - were either too fine of a point, or they glopped ink in spots (and on my fingers). Some had ink that was a light color so it didn't look good on a white envelope. Had to be super careful about shaking the pen to pump it and discharging a little ink on a scratch paper. Even then the flow wouldn't be even. These pens solve all of it. Highly recommend. Just put pen to paper and it rolls great! Smooth and even. Dries almost instantly, but if you rub it instantly you could smear it, so wait a couple seconds before stacking envelopes. One pen lasts a long time (I'm through 30 cards maybe 20% of the ink level has been used - like I said, had to stop to share the joy), so maybe 150 envelopes? - but that's a guess. It came with 6 pens so I'm not in any danger. I've used Pilot, Sikura and roller balls. Will never use anything else. ... show more

These pens write well and the ink doesn't skip. The gold shows up well on black and white paper. I got the pens to use in my Cricut with an attachment. I haven't used them for that yet but I do handwrite thank you notes with them for my small business. The gold makes it look extra fancy. Beautiful color and easy to write with! ... show more

When I was in upper Elementary in middle school (late 90s early oughts) is when the gel pen craze really kicked off, these were the top of the line model to have when I was a kid and recently as I have grown up I was tasked with finding a good teacher appreciation gift so I decided to order a pack of these. These are nice but it takes a minute to get a good ink flow. Once the ink starts flowing they write beautifully. They’re the same size of a normal pen. They are easy to write with but you do have to prime the pens.

These are great pens! Ink flows out smoothly, no skipping, and they show up wonderfully on black or white paper as well. They are very glittery and I don't notice the glitter rubbing off on your hands like some other metallic pens. The color selection is good and the ink lasts a while. My children have used these to draw several pictures and there is plenty of ink remaining in these pens. I think they are well worth the price, since they are better quality than some other options out there. They also do not bleed through when using them to write. These are the best pens for writing with the silhouette cutting machine. They don't dry out like other gel pens I've used. Used these to address black wedding envelopes and they came out looking AMAZING.
