We’re absolutely in love with this vacuum! We have a German shepherd, a husky, and a cat, so there is always fur and dirt in our house and this vacuum cleans the floors like a champ! Every time we vacuum we comment on how the floors feel like they’ve just been mopped! The different brush and suction settings are awesome for our laminate floors and area rugs, though figuring out the perfect settings for the rugs took some trial and error. The long hose detachment is perfect for getting in those crevasses and under furniture where the fur likes to collect. It’s very light and easy to drag around. And the tank is massive! We can actually vacuum our whole house without emptying. Literally our only complaint is the power cord. We wish it was like 5ft longer so we could cover more rooms without having to unplug and find a new outlet. Honest rating would be 4.5 stars! Best vacuum we’ve ever owned!

We had an old Navigator Lift Away for YEARS, and finally we just couldn’t justify replacing the parts. So we opted for the Rotator with power fins and XL collector tank. As a dog trainer we vacuum every single day. We own two German shepherds so we put vacuums through the wringer. Not only does this thing hold enough debris and hair, but it is pulling up everything! Definitely an upgrade! The power fins were a huge selling point as dog hair de-tangling is never fun. After two full uses I don’t see any hair on the rose. The deodorizer technology is actually pretty nice. I don’t have it on a hi setting as I am not sure how long it will last, but it does blow deodorizer as you vacuum. I also like the wand and rather long hose. I am now able to reach things I had to use a stool for. It is also much quieter than the old Lift Away. It’s not super light but it is also not too heavy making it pretty easy to use. You can’t go wrong with Shark products as they generally perform well and this vacuum is no exception. I highly recommend it.

I’ve now had this vacuum for a year, it is so well worth the money. I switched from my Dyson to this shark model. It’s easy to use, it’s easy to clean. The suction is the best I’ve ever seen in a vaccum. It’s lightweight. Lots of length to use attachments. The scent boosters work great. I can see where if I had dogs this would be great for the smell. The scent boosters also have levels you can set . I have cats and it collects the hair like no other vacuum. For noise level, I don’t think it’s loud. The quality of this baby is made built to last! I will never buy anything other vacuum. My only con is I wish I did this so much sooner!

I really was skeptical about buying this product. I usually prefer a canister and have had Kenmores for years and years but with two dogs, one a Great Pyrenees - the kind that shed 11.5 months of the year but, my Kenmore was on it's last legs... or wheels. I have always heard good things about Shark brand vacs so I gave this a try. I am thrilled I did! While I do find it a tad heavy, it's the price one pays for an upright I suppose, but the suction power is wonderful. It is great at picking up the dog hair and even more exciting, I don't have to spend time picking hair out of the roller bar - yes it truly self-cleans. YaHoo! The dust/dirt bin is VERY large and does not require emptying between rooms (1650 sq ft house) and still has plenty of room in it. You don't have to handle the dirt ever, just a push of a button and poof, it's in the trash. Changing from floor power to rug power is so easy, and it can be done on the fly, with a simply flip of the switch. I found the attachments all fit easily and conveniently on the "stick" part of the cleaner, and are easy to remove, use, and return to place. I am beyond pleased with my purchase. My one complaint is that the cord should be much longer. It really is too short, especially if, like me, your electrical receptacles are inconveniently placed or simply not plentiful. I did buy an extension cord so that I could do the entire house without changing plugs. If you, like me, are hesitant, if you have big hairy critters roaming your halls, you need this vacuum!

So far it’s working great. Have only had it a few days, so will see. My last shark only lasted 3 yrs, should have lasted a few more years but didn’t. It quit sucking, only moved hair around. I totally cleaned it out with an air hose. Worked for a little while then went right back to moving stuff around. I hope this one lasts longer for the price!.

I just purchased this vacuum and am really impressed with it after the first use. It was really easy to put together. The instructions included are detailed with pictures. It’s easy to transition to handheld. There’s no extra hose you have to lug around or store. It’s lightweight so moving it up and down my three-story townhouse is easy. It’s also very maneuverable getting around furniture and other items. The suction on this vacuum is amazing. It pulled out so much dirt from my rugs that I had no idea my old vacuum missed. I have a German Shepherd and two long haired cats who all shed a lot. My old vacuum could never get all the fur. I also haven’t had an issue with hair/fur getting stuck in the brushes. This thing pulls up everything. I’m just amazed at how much it picks up. Another feature I love is you can adjust the suction. I have different length rugs and I can lower the suction on the longer length rugs so the vacuum will actually move. There’s also a separate carpet and floor setting. Overall I’m really happy with my purchase so far. I will be able to keep my floors much cleaner. As you can see from the picture this was from an area rug. I had vacuumed with my old vacuum the day before. It clearly missed a LOT of dirt and fur!!

My mini Aussie sheds so much. My last vacuum died after a year. Shark pet upright is also for people with long hair and doesn’t get clogged up. It cleans like a dream. It has a light indicator for emptying the canister. The cord is not long enough for me however the suction is so worth the cord shortage. I have recommended this vacuum to my friends with pets.

We bought this to replace our Dyson Ball Pet 3 that wore out due to unnecessarily complicated design and a lot of use. This vacuum is $100 cheaper than the Dyson it directly competes with but picks up 100 times better. It's quieter and 2 pounds lighter and has a handle on the top, which the Dyson does not, which makes picking it up simple and cleaning stairs less of a chore. It also reaches deeper under furniture and does a better job of picking up debris close to walls. It has two settings, bare floor and carpet. The carpet setting spins the head more aggressive and will pull all the hair up from a golden retriever in one pass. We have black runners in the center of our hall that took many passes with the Dyson but only one with this vac. It was like a TV commercial. The wife and I were shocked. One pro tip is that the more aggressive setting for carpet does not work well on bare floor so make sure you use the bare floor setting. The carpet setting it seems to kick the debris around on a bare floor. So in this case more is not better on the bar floor. Ironically it picked up super good on the carpet with the bare floor setting before we realize there was a carpet setting then...OMIGOSH. Three cons that I've discovered so far with this vac. First, is the cord is considerably shorter than the Dyson and the second is that this vac is made of less durable plastic so as long as you're not banging around I believe that this unit will perform the more expensive Dyson. The last con is really a product of being a victim of its own success. Be very careful around the edges of rugs, running over cords or pet toys, or running over anything because it will pull it up into the vac. It pulled the corner of one of our rugs up into the vac and then proceeded to take the backing off of the rug leaving a mark. It is very powerful on carpet setting and does an amazing job. We filled the canister 3/4 of the way full just vacuuming the downstairs of a 2800 square-foot home. Excellent vac for the money. Could very well be the best value on the market.
