We’re absolutely in love with this vacuum! We have a German shepherd, a husky, and a cat, so there is always fur and dirt in our house and this vacuum cleans the floors like a champ! Every time we vacuum we comment on how the floors feel like they’ve just been mopped! The different brush and suction settings are awesome for our laminate floors and area rugs, though figuring out the perfect settings for the rugs took some trial and error. The long hose detachment is perfect for getting in those crevasses and under furniture where the fur likes to collect. It’s very light and easy to drag around. And the tank is massive! We can actually vacuum our whole house without emptying. Literally our only complaint is the power cord. We wish it was like 5ft longer so we could cover more rooms without having to unplug and find a new outlet. Honest rating would be 4.5 stars! Best vacuum we’ve ever owned!

I absolutely love the Shark ZU102 Rotator Pet Upright Vacuum. This is hands down the best vacuum I've ever owned. The performance is incredible, especially in a house with multiple dogs. The suction is powerful and consistently picks up pet hair, dirt, dust, and debris that other vacuums leave behind. One of my favorite features is the PowerFins brushroll. Unlike other vacuums I've owned, hair doesn't constantly get wrapped around the roller, so I'm not spending time cutting tangled hair off the brush. It keeps performing well without losing suction or getting clogged. The large dust cup is also a huge plus since I don't have to empty it constantly, and the odor neutralizer helps keep everything smelling fresh. I've tried many vacuums over the years, and this Shark is by far the best. If you have pets and want a vacuum that actually performs, I highly recommend it.

We had an old Navigator Lift Away for YEARS, and finally we just couldn’t justify replacing the parts. So we opted for the Rotator with power fins and XL collector tank. As a dog trainer we vacuum every single day. We own two German shepherds so we put vacuums through the wringer. Not only does this thing hold enough debris and hair, but it is pulling up everything! Definitely an upgrade! The power fins were a huge selling point as dog hair de-tangling is never fun. After two full uses I don’t see any hair on the rose. The deodorizer technology is actually pretty nice. I don’t have it on a hi setting as I am not sure how long it will last, but it does blow deodorizer as you vacuum. I also like the wand and rather long hose. I am now able to reach things I had to use a stool for. It is also much quieter than the old Lift Away. It’s not super light but it is also not too heavy making it pretty easy to use. You can’t go wrong with Shark products as they generally perform well and this vacuum is no exception. I highly recommend it.

This was the third Shark vacuum that I've bought. I've owned the red/white one, a lift away and this one. I've been impressed with different qualities with each one. But the lift away design ones by far, in my opinion, are superior. The pros on this model: the anti hair wrap is GREAT!! I have long hair a husky and a German shepherd. Never have had to cut hair out of the roller like older models! The dust cup on this model is the largest!! NO KIDDING!! I've tried this baby out by purposely not vacuuming for a week and when I vacuumed I was able to vacuum the whole house and never had to empty the canister in-between rooms. 🙌🏻 Yes, it's THAT big! Which is AMAZING!! The hose I believe is longer than my other sharks?? Or at least seems so, I haven't actually measured but it sure feels longer when I go to use it, which is nice! Cons: I wish it was a lift away! I should've went with a model that was BUT..... If it had lift away capability it would be better. The handle needs the ability to get a good grip on it. The handle is super smooth and I have arthritic hands so it's hard for me to maneuver because my hands are constantly slipping around the handle just trying to vacuum. It's also kind of heavy for a vacuum. It does NOT edge clean as you vacuum! You have to use the attachments if you want to clean all the way up to your baseboards otherwise the edges up to your baseboards remain dirty. Hope this helps!

I have two VERY hair dogs, huskies, and four people in my house with long hair. Can I just say that the brush roll on this thing is amazing. No hair gets wrapped in it, and it really picks up. It works on the hardwood and the carpet, and it really does a great job of sucking up all the dog hair on the carpet. The tank is larger, which is what initially drew me to this vacuum. I had a stick vacuum but with the small tank, I was emptying it every few minutes because of the dog hair. With this vacuum I can do the whole house and then empty it at the end. It’s also very easy to clean the filter and dump the tank. I love the design. Definitely a must have for pet owners.

Very good vacuum! I have 2 dogs- one who sheds constantly. One swipe of the Shark takes care of the fur and dirt they bring in. The first time I used it, I vacuumed the whole house without emptying the dust cup. Granted, my house is only 720sqft, but my old Bissell took 3 emptyings. I like the scent cup. It helps with the musty dog smell. The on board attachments are the usual thing, nothing special. The only slight problem i have is the length of the power cord. It's a few feet shorter than the Bissell so I do have to switch outlets, but that's not a big enough issue to take a star away. Overall, this is an excellent vacuum. Highly recommend!

We bought this to replace our Dyson Ball Pet 3 that wore out due to unnecessarily complicated design and a lot of use. This vacuum is $100 cheaper than the Dyson it directly competes with but picks up 100 times better. It's quieter and 2 pounds lighter and has a handle on the top, which the Dyson does not, which makes picking it up simple and cleaning stairs less of a chore. It also reaches deeper under furniture and does a better job of picking up debris close to walls. It has two settings, bare floor and carpet. The carpet setting spins the head more aggressive and will pull all the hair up from a golden retriever in one pass. We have black runners in the center of our hall that took many passes with the Dyson but only one with this vac. It was like a TV commercial. The wife and I were shocked. One pro tip is that the more aggressive setting for carpet does not work well on bare floor so make sure you use the bare floor setting. The carpet setting it seems to kick the debris around on a bare floor. So in this case more is not better on the bar floor. Ironically it picked up super good on the carpet with the bare floor setting before we realize there was a carpet setting then...OMIGOSH. Three cons that I've discovered so far with this vac. First, is the cord is considerably shorter than the Dyson and the second is that this vac is made of less durable plastic so as long as you're not banging around I believe that this unit will perform the more expensive Dyson. The last con is really a product of being a victim of its own success. Be very careful around the edges of rugs, running over cords or pet toys, or running over anything because it will pull it up into the vac. It pulled the corner of one of our rugs up into the vac and then proceeded to take the backing off of the rug leaving a mark. It is very powerful on carpet setting and does an amazing job. We filled the canister 3/4 of the way full just vacuuming the downstairs of a 2800 square-foot home. Excellent vac for the money. Could very well be the best value on the market.
