I bought this because I love my shark vacuums...yes, I own several. This mop is amazing. It cleans my kitchen and hardwood floors on setting one. It cleans the tiled bathrooms on setting three. I love that idea don't need smelly cleaners. It's quick and easy to use. It heats up in under a minute. You can flip the head and use both side without touching it. It pops off without touching it. I feel like it disinfects the floors which I love in the bathrooms. Floors dry almost immediately. The cord is long so I don't have to replug it often even though my house is large. Two things to note. It doesn't stand up well even when you lean it against something. Don't leave it stand on a hardwood or laminate floor after it is hot. It might damage the surface. It's fine on tile. I put mine in the closet immediately and never let it sit on the floor. I learned my lesson when it damaged the finish on my hardwood floor. I applied the finish I use and it immediately remedied the problem but I won't take that risk again. Worth the money. I am shocked at how dirty my floors are. The first time I used it, my husband had mopped the kitchen floor that morning. We couldn't believe how dirty the mop was when I was done which took my less than 10 minutes. The only thing I would change is that I wish I could bleach the mops to get them clean again.

AAA++++ Tried this steamer at a clients house with five pets and it did exactly what I wanted the Bissell Steamer to do, cut through nasty pet and cooking stains, hair balls, jam and more. As an owner of 3 cats and a chef I highly recommend this. Comes in 3 parts and 30 sec assembly. Video below was it's first test at home right out of the box. This mess is dried on spilled egg, from making Panko mushrooms and zucchini last week, that I spilled down the side of my oven and counter last week. I had the Bissell Power steamer 2685 series, Heavy Duty Steam Mop I spent $150+ on two years ago. This steamer just never worked good and I regret not sending it back withing the return time. It stopped working completely and started clicking right after it's warranty expired conveniently enough of course. I ordered this to replace it and I am thrilled at the results. Even with the weird angle with my oven pulled out it was super satisfying to be able to blast/melt it away the dried on egg mess with the strong steam jet. I struggled a little because of the angle in the video but it shoots out a steady blast of hot steam when flip the pad over and you are hitting a spot head on and boy was this egg super dooper hard to remove, I tried!! This passed the test with flying colors. My favorite feature, other than the steam blaster, is the touch-free technology. I don't have to ever touch a gross hairball pad again! Just click the pad release button and bam it's off. To put a pad on click the button to undo the grabbers and plop onto of a new pad, click clack each side and away you go! I ordered a 6 pack of extra pads too. Whoo hoo thank you for making a kick arse product! 😺 😺 😺 🧑🍳 Only negative thing is that I highly suggest keeping a watch on the price, after ordering one within 2 days it dropped $20, I hadn't even opened it yet so I ordered another and sent the $20 more expensive one back. I wish Amazon did a 30day price match like other retailers like 🎯 to avoid this issue in the future, they don't state that they do when I went looking, I was later told my a friend that you just have to call Amazon and they will refund the difference over the phone, maybe put that in the returns section in writing to avoid excess use of shipping/ CO2 gas and shipping wait times in the future. I paid $59.99 for this one.

Honestly, the fact that so many mops just smear a wet rag all over the floor kind of bothers me. You need high heat to try to disinfect anything and to get at some of the stains you might have on a tile floor for example. Let me tell you why this is the steam mop you should get. 1) This steam mop lets you flip the head when mopping. When you do, you can press to push the mop forward and it will shoot a constant burst of hot steam ahead of your mop. Direct scalding hot steam. Why does this matter? Because it disinfects and also helps break down gunk on your floor. It won't get everything, but if you have spots on your kitchen floor with jam or egg or milk or soup - this will help break it down. Press down hard, push back and forth with the steam jet, and you can clear it. 2) You get a spare cleaning cloth. This is obviously convenient 3) The mechanism to release and attach the cleaning cloth is masterfully done. Convenient, quick, efficient, effortless. This is how it should be. No fiddling nonsense. 4) Heats up pretty quickly and has enough water to do a decent area. Realistically, if you're pressing down to clear stains, you'll want a break anyway. There are some cons. That's not to say they are necessarily unique to this product or significant enough to matter, which is why I am just noting them without knocking the rating. 1) You may have to press down quite hard to clear some tougher spots and stains. I don't think there's any cleaning device you could use to avoid that without magnitudes more in cost or professional cleaning 2) There's no real off button on the device. I didn't read the manual so maybe you can hold something or other. I just unplug the thing. 3) Pouring the water into the storage container can be annoying. That said, you're mopping, so just mop it up if you spill. I am happy with this device, and I can't imagine having something of higher quality or better performance without spending many times more. I actually had a previous steam mop that was more expensive than this and just pushed around a wet mop. This is way better.

Works well, good maneuverability and easy to install and definitely will use again. Lost a 1 star because there could be more improvement. Work time: Definitely quicker than a manual mop and bucket. I see a difference in the tile floor and maybe after another couple uses, it will get to STEAM: It's like hot steaming industrial clothes iron with thick fabric pad . Steam was good. GRIP PAD: Grip pad got all dirt off and hair strands, it was easy to remove and replace and it easy to wash (easier than a mop head). I wish there was a special pad for sticky hard stains. CORNERS & TIGHT SPACES. I have another accessory to get the tight corners (I had to use a damp microfiber cloth to get those spots) . WATER TANK: I had to replace water in the tank three or four times when using high setting in about 4 rooms (If the tank any bigger, the design would be too bulky). I wish there was red light when water level low.

I could not live without it. I love that I can wash the pads in my washer and have them clean and ready to go when I need to do my floors. I have a lot of tile floors in my house and enjoy this product. This is my second one! I wore one completely out. I like the Shark brand best!!!

I got this mop and it did not work. I was really impressed with the mop cover! It really works and I almost kept it as it the cloth cover and the weight of the mop helped clean a lot. I would have given anything for it to have worked! The extra steam booster did not work. But I use a real mop generally, but this brought up dirt i couldn’t believe! I’m considering ordering another with the hopes the extra steam booster works. The cloth is amazing!!! It’s heavy, but that just adds to the cleaning.

I previously purchased the lighter weight Shark steam mop and although it worked ok, putting the pads on and removing them was challenging with my carpal tunnel and I didn't like touching the dirty heads thereafter. When I saw this one on sale, I knew I needed to purchase it as the big plus is you easily slip into the pads and push a button to release them - YEAH! It is easy to assemble, adding the water is easier too as they moved the reservoir location and I believe the cord is longer as well. My white porcelain tile looks great and shines like glass. Highly recommend.
