This fan is so cool! I will say that I bought it on sale open box and that it was pretty pricey at full price. That being said it has a lot of features. I really appreciate that it can be used indoors and as outdoors and I love the misting feature. I was utterly impressed by the quality of this fan, especially at this price point - which I thought was a bit expensive for a fan. It has a sleek, modern design and feels very sturdy and well-made. The fan comes with a convenient remote control that attaches magnetically to the back—an incredibly thoughtful feature. It operates almost silently yet delivers powerful airflow with five adjustable speed settings. The size is ideal: compact enough not to feel bulky, yet powerful enough to provide excellent circulation. It also offers the flexibility to function as a table fan, which adds great versatility. Charging is quick, and the cooling reservoir makes a noticeable difference in airflow. The only improvement I’d suggest for future models would be to insulate the water reservoir to help maintain the ice longer. Overall, this is a high-quality, feature-rich fan that exceeds expectations. ... show more

As others have said, this misting fan as it ships is more of a spraying fan. It will get you and the area around you wet. However, with some new parts and some experimenting I was able to get the fan working just fine. First of all, you will need to replace the .3 mm misters (a medium spray) with either .2 mm misters (a fine spray) or .1 mm misters (a medium mist). You can get these misters on Amazon. However even with the .1 mm mister, it tended to get things damp. So I experimented and finally found that if I used the fan on the low mist setting, pointed up at a 45 degree angle, and put it on oscillating mode, it filled my gazebo with a very fine mist that did not get me or the area wet. I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars because I had to buy some extra parts to get it working as I wanted it to work. With my changes, it is a 5 star. I like that you can plug this fan up and charge it, then use it without the cord if necessary. Or if you want to leave it plugged in you can as well. This makes it very useful to move around if you need to do stuff outside and want to have a fan with a mister

Although more than I wanted to spend, it is well worth the extra expense! It has TWO misters, one on each side of the fan, that actually MIST and not "spit" at you like another less expensive make/model I tried (and returned). Easy to assemble. One of the best features is that it has its own removable reservoirs for water! I loved this feature and it is large enough to last quite a while before refilling. You will not be disappointed with this misting fan! And the remote control is just MARVELOUS! ... show more

It took only 15 minutes to assemble and that was the only good thing about this product. We used this on our Laini for the half hour we ran it before packing it up and returning. Since it was to spray a light mist for up to 70 feet we thought, as we had observed in places fans like this are used, that the mist spraying over that distance would provide a cooling evaporation and not soak everything in sight. Well, this sprayed a mist for about 7 or 8 feet not 70 soaking everything as the distance is not near far enough to provide evaporation cooling. It also leaked from where the hose connected to the fan and yes, it was connected as tight as it would go. A steady leak came from the back housing of the fan and water also accumulated within the front of the fan housing leaking out the front. In 25 minutes over half of the liter container of water was gone and it was to last a few hours. We thought since this was a Shark product it would be quality but, this is just another cheap piece of junk made in China. ... show more

This fan is excellent, the life battery is awesome and it's easy pass to cordless. The fan is very quite, the design is modern. The oscillation feature works perfect. The mist feature is easy to use and works very good. The remote control is a very good plus.

This is a really nice mist fan for an outdoor deck. You will want to be sure you have plastic down or an area that is okay with water as the mist will come down and form small pools of water. Absolutely makes the air cooler and runs quietly.
