Vacume looks new but handle craitle (the plastic part joining metal pipe) is broken. Looks like someone returned it for that reason. Handle spins and comes off. Easy fix with some silicone for the price. Looking forward to giving this thing a test drive for a few weeks.

Part that holds soft roller in place broke into 3 pieces just 6 months after purchasing it. When I called the support line, they informed me that the floor nozzle is not covered under any warranty and that I would have to purchase a new one for $89 plus shipping. Our flooring is a combo of vinyl laminate and low pile area rugs in the bedrooms. We thought our old vacuum did a decent job but we were stunned the first time we vacuumed the house with the Shark. The dirt, dust and hair it pulled up was amazing. After completely cleaning anything that stayed still and a few things that didn't we noticed that the hard flooring had a sheen we had never seen before. We have had the Shark several months and are still surprised by the amount it pulls up. I have lifted the tank off the base more than I thought I would when we bought it and it makes it much easier cleaning all things not flooring related. The attachment for furniture has a great vibration for pulling the dirt out of chairs and couches. I hope it never dies but if it does I will buy another. ... show more

Bought this vacuum thinking .... Why not great price I'll give it a try. (Bought the renewed) Worked great out of the box and for a few months. Now the roller is broken. Will have to try and fix myself but I am thinking a should have spent a bit more for a new one not RENEWED. Off to buy the proper tool at home depot to try and get to the roller. ... show more

I got this vacuum because I love Shark vacuums but didn’t feel like investing a ton of money in another vacuum. The reviews for this were really good so I followed my gut and purchased this. Not going to lie the smell when you use it isn’t the best in the beginning. It does a good job suctioning but I only wish is that the canister was a little bigger.
