THIS THING IS AMAZING! Seriously. This has been a game changer. The self cleaning brush roll alone has been amazing. We have vacuumed near daily in a house with cats and the brush roll still looks brand new. The suction is awesome and the adaptive features are really cool and helpful. I love having a cordless vacuum that doesn't feel like it functions worse than a regular vacuum. As others have stated, the battery life isn't out of this world, but for us honestly we've never had a problem. This isn't a vacuum your entire house vacuum, but for us is for spot cleaning or doing one room here and there. This is the best vacuum I have ever had. It's not the strongest or most powerful, it doesn't have attachments. It doesn't do the very highest quality job. But- it is so convenient to use that I do, every day. In the past I would dread getting out my canister sac, trying to pull it through the house, constantly bending over to straighten the hose or move the heavy canister. This vac you just whip out, it is so light and moves and turns so easily. It's a breeze to empty. Then easy to plug in and quickly recharges. I am a senior, and for me this is the best vacuum going. I just received this cordless shark vacuum and I will say I love it! I used it on my wood flooring, carpet, and rugs. With 5 long haired cats you could only imagine how much hair gets left behind after vacuuming, but this little guy got it all up and let me know when it was still cleaning which is great because I can't always see the hair unless I get down close. Super easy to put together, put on attachment, and empty once done!!! I only wish it had a brush attachment to help with getting the hair of the couches. I was a long time Dyson user but they are just to expensive, but shark has got a new customer now. The battery could last longer, I had to recharge to get the bedrooms after that not doing the kitchen floor and living room, which are big and I had to go over the carpet slowly just to appease myself. ... show more

Do not recommend, maybe we got a bad one. But battery does not last at all. It constantly was throwing red codes we had to look up that showed it was either over heating or clogged. Neither were wrong. Suction was ok and I do love the fin brush. But here we are barely 3 months later I’m having to buy a new vacuum because it unexpectedly just quit working. Always felt very loose and wobbly. We assumed it’s just how it was for the easy maneuvering. But I feel it was just cheap and poorly made. Price definitely not cheap for what it was. ... show more

It’s smart sensor stuff sounds cool and is kind of cool when you go up against the edges and you can see and kind of hear the noise of it sucking harder against the edge but when it’s on carpet, it doesn’t know what the hell is going on and it just it sucks it’s it barely pulls up any hair. I vacuumed over my whole carpet bedroom with this thing and and filled it up with hair and then I went over it again with my normal plug-in vacuum and I picked up a ton more hair and and when I did go over it with this electric battery one it was really hard to push around because it’s it’s so light weight that doesn’t hold its own mass so you find yourself having to like force it in my wrist, and my hand were exhausted after doing just one bedroom and doing a really bad job at that so I think I’m gonna return this and either buy a plug-in one that’s also in the two $300 range or I’m gonna look for another. I don’t like the cord I want something about battery powered but I want something that actually works. Also, this battery did not last at all. I have about 2500 ft.² that I need to vacuum all at once and I knew I’d be cutting it close but it’s not even close like I did my my kitchen and my hallway and it was done and I had to plug it in for four hours to finish the house. also, I don’t get why it didn’t come with a battery mount like it’s so ugly that I have to plug this thing into a wall and then just leave it on my countertop or on the ground to charge why not come with a nice wall mount that makes no sense. Also, I’ve seen other comments about this. It has this weird hook thing at the bottom but no guidance as to what to do with the hook and it comes with a spare part for like just handheld cleaning stairs and stuff, but there’s nowhere to clip this thing in so you just have a loose part that’s gonna sit in your closet or in a drawer forever and you’re gonna lose it. It’s just it seems like bad product design from a company that usually does good product design so I’m surprised I’m disappointed.
