Im only giving it 4 stars because there isn’t any on and off button once you plug it in, it just starts working it made me feel like I need to vacuum very fast. Feel like I need to rush. And there are some scratches and some cracks but I understand because this is renewed/refurbished. Anyway, I just used it. I’ll see how it is next time I clean my whole apartment. I do hope that this will last long since it’s expensive. But hey this works really great. Strong suction. We just moved to a new apartment which has carpets. My old apartment doesnt have any. So I’m very skeptical about getting vacuum but this one works great. I’m very surprised since the shark vacuum we had at work got broke easily and doesnt really want to work the way it supposed to be. ... show more

Loving it so far. We vacuumed our rug with our old vacuum before using this for the first time to see how it would perform. I was surprised that it picked up so much more than the old vacuum. The cannister was nearly full of dog fur that the old one missed. Love the floor auto detect feature. It goes from rug to hardwood floor effortlessly and does a great job on both surfaces. The attachments that come with it are really handy. The only thing I would change is making the cannister a bit bigger. Those with long haired dogs know how quickly it fills up, but other than that I would definitely recommend it. ... show more

Best vacuum Ever!!! First time I used it it pulled SO much dirt out of my carpet! I’ve been using a cordless cheap vacuum. Never again! The suction is great on pet hair, I have 2 cats and 2 dogs, cleans up toddler and kid messes with ease, and it is lightweight for my stairs!

I bought this vacuum three months ago, and unfortunately, the cord has become defective, potentially posing a fire hazard to myself or my children during its operation. I reached out to the seller, but they were unable to assist with an exchange as it was beyond the 30-day return period. This was my first experience with a shark vacuum switching from Bissell, and it appears I will be purchasing Bissell products, though I plan to do so in-store next time.     • Mistaken Initial Assessment
Initially when I tried this on my medium pile shag area rug, the machine would go about a foot and then stop. That's when I had it on the max detect setting. I had already filled out the return form. Came back from work that same day and changed it to the min setting and this vacuum was amazing! I'm keeping it. Major suction power, especially on the hard floors. Giving it 4 stars only because it had a tendency to suck in the corners of my area rugs but other than that the assembly took 2 minutes and I really like the no-fuss canister clean-up function. It's a vacuum so I don't really care about the noise levels, but this one did not seem excessively noisy. It's a little on the heavy side, especially when you are trying to re-route it but I'm truly pleased with the price (refurbished), functionality and finally owning a vacuum that does the job! ... show more
