I've had this carpet cleaner for almost a week now, and I've already shampooed the carpet throughout my entire house. Overall, I'm really happy with it. I've owned several Shark products over the years, and they've all been reliable, so I had pretty high expectations going into this. Thankfully, this one didn't disappoint. The cleaning performance is excellent. It pulled up a surprising amount of dirt from carpets that I thought were already fairly clean. The suction is strong, the carpets dried faster than I expected, and everything looked noticeably fresher once I finished. It also did a great job picking up pet hair and leaving the carpet smelling clean. The only real downside, in my opinion, is the size of the clean and dirty water tanks. They're on the smaller side, so if you're cleaning a larger area, you'll spend quite a bit of time stopping to empty the dirty water and refill the clean water tank. It wasn't enough to make me regret buying it, but it's definitely something to be aware of. Because of that, I probably wouldn't recommend this model for someone with a very large house unless you don't mind making frequent trips to refill it. If you have a small to medium sized home, though, I think it's a great choice. It's lightweight, easy to maneuver, and does an excellent job cleaning. Overall, I'm very impressed with it. The smaller tanks are a minor inconvenience, but the cleaning performance more than makes up for it. I'd rather spend a little extra time refilling the machine than end up with carpets that aren't actually clean. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality carpet cleaner.

One of the things I’ve always hated about carpet cleaners is that they’re so bulky that I end up almost never using them and they just sit in the garage. I’ve been looking for one the size of a normal vacuum forever and I’ve finally found it. This cleaner works great. It puts down a lot of cleaning solution, seems like it really gets down into the carpet, and does an amazing of sucking the water back out. Old stains disappeared in one or two passes, and carpet was almost completely dry the next morning. That being said, having such small tanks is kind of a pain. A small 12 x 14 room will probably require 4-5 refills and emptying when using the max dispensing setting. This is very light, easy to maneuver, and easy to use. If you’re looking for a complete all-in-one, this probably isn’t for you. But if you already have a handheld cleaner and you just want something a little bit bigger to tackle the occasional room or hallway, this is perfect.

This thing really cleans and sucks! I usually can’t tell such a stark difference when carpet cleaning but I could so tell this time. I have three dogs, two chihuahua mixes and a Mastador who sheds like she’s the one who vacuums. Even with a Dyson pet I can’t get up all the hair ever so with this having the “hair pro” system, is amazing. It actually got the hair up that was imbedded into the carpet. My only complaint is the tank size. It is TINY. You definitely are making way more trips to dump and fill than usual machines. If it had more capacity in that way this thing would be 5 stars.

This machine and cleaner is magic. The device is essentially ready to use out of the box. Lightweight with a convenient handle on back to carry. Easily carried one handed up the stairs. The machine is sturdy with a removable handle that made it much easier to store in the closet. It’s also a good looking machine. Every piece has clear purpose and while it may not be important to have a sleek look, it’s a plus regardless I think. Cleaning was therapeutic watching stains that were well over a year old disappear with 3-4 passes. That alone was impressive. It glided over the floor with a perfect balance of suction and movement without that jolting “catch” feeling. The tank in deep cleaning mode lasted longer than expected, however I worked in a concentrated area so I can’t yet say how much square footage I can get before the tank empties. Expect a lot of dirty tank emptying. If you have a spare bucket, it wouldn’t be the worst idea to have it for emptying the tank if the room isn’t close to a location to drain it. I did not anticipate the amount of stain removal I got in such a stained floor. With the anticipation of hiring a professional cleaner, it was continuously pushed back as it is in the room of a disabled parent so we found ourselves in a position where we couldn’t get the planning right. I’ve also had other disappointing machines so I was leery in getting another. On top of the transformation of the carpet, it was a fast dry (on deep clean mode) and the carpet felt softer than when it was new I’m sure! It felt like a cloud. I am excited to tackle other rooms that have some stains (two cats who eat wet food as messily as possible and coffee). I imagine this will blast those stains with ease if it was able to tackle such a heavily stained area. After all the research, this was consistent in its higher praises. Add me to the list of those who are impressed. I hope that the photos can give you an idea of what to expect. Keep in mind, as mentioned before, these stains were well over a year old. Check reviews, videos and your needs. Compare and research. As with anything, what works for some may not work for all and there may be something else out there that’s better. But given the results I imagine it will be a great choice for many.

Really impressed with my new Carpet cleaner! My Big Green Machine carpet shampooer died, due to no fault of its own. I did not want to spend that kind of money so I researched and purchased the Shark HairPro. No regrets!!! We have a Husky. Even after vacuuming prior top shampooing, hairs are embedded deep in the carpeting. The green Machine would get the hairs entangled on the rollers and various parts of the machine. The Shark Hairpro catches them all (almost) and deposits them in a little plastic container for easy removal, People complain about a small tank and yes it is small but it does not use anywhere near the amount of water that my old Green Machine used. Emptying and refilling is easy so its no big deal compared to other cleaners; Since it does not use as much water, drying times are significantly shorter than my old cleaner. Over all I am very pleased with Shark products. We've had a Shark vacuum cleaner for somewhere around 10 years and it still works beautifully. I am hoping to have this cleaner for at least that long.

We have a German Shepherd named Stormy who firmly believes her full-time job is producing enough fur to knit another German Shepherd. Add the occasional muddy paws and mystery messes, and our carpets definitely get a workout. This Shark doesn't even flinch. It pulls up dirt I didn't know was there, leaves the carpets looking amazing, and they're dry much faster than I expected. Stormy has also decided this machine is her mortal enemy and regularly barks at it, bites at it, and tries to intimidate it. The Shark remains completely unfazed. Five stars from me... zero stars from Stormy.

I was expecting small tank from previous reviews. However the 6x faster drying is false! Sprayed full tank it sucked up an inch of water per tank sprayed. Carpets are soaked. I’ll be shocked if they dry in Time for company. Have fans going in every room.

So far, it is great! Really deep cleaned my carpet and picked up pet fur I didn't know was there. It's true that the tanks are smallish, but the power and effectiveness are superior. It is also much easier to keep the machine clean than with other carpet cleaners I've owned. That is important to me. Great machine.
