This little espresso machine won me over immediately with its compact size and clean look. It doesn’t hog counter space, which already puts it ahead of half the appliances out there pretending they’re “compact.” It feels designed for real kitchens, not showroom counters. Using it is straightforward thanks to the single control knob, which is perfect for beginners who just want coffee without earning a barista certification. Espresso brews quickly, and the result is rich and satisfying for a machine in this size and price range. That said, it has a bit of personality. There’s no clear signal when brewing is finished, so there’s a brief moment of standing around wondering if it’s done or just thinking about it. Then suddenly it springs into action like it remembered an appointment. It keeps things exciting. Because the machine is lightweight, locking the handle takes a little effort unless you hold it steady. Not a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of. The milk frother works well, though it sits fairly low, so mug choice matters unless you enjoy rearranging your countertop mid-drink. The glass carafe is actually one of the highlights. It makes measuring water easy, keeps everything visible, and simplifies the whole process. Overall, this is a charming, no-nonsense espresso maker with a few quirks, solid performance, and enough character to make mornings a little more entertaining. If you want a compact machine that makes good espresso and doesn’t take itself too seriously, this one gets the job done

The best part of this is the small, compact size. i have a stovetop moka pot and an electric moka pot and an electric steamer/frother, and i love making espresso and lattes as a weekend treat. Weekdays are pretty much a rush morning so it's espresso capsules at my office! i do not have a big kitchen and have no space for a large espresso maker like my sister in law has, so this seemed the perfect addition to my collection. I have to say it takes a lot of trial and error to get the hang of it, and i still have not. I am still playing around with how fine to ground the beans, how much to tamp, in order to get the right amount of actual liquid. I do like the heated carafe which is handy while i use my other milk frother to steam my milk since like other reviews, this does not heat it up or make foam as well. It's not bad at all and it does work but will require a few trial runs, but kind of in line with the price point.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this item as a gift for my son for christmas, steam and water leaking every where. It should not have been doing that. I also bought a second one for my daughter for christmas waiting to find out if hers does the same thing. I am not a happy customer.
