This set really was an amazing buy. They have done me and my family very well and we will be ordering more. The front of the notebooks are really nice sturdy materials and they come with pockets in them which I didn't expect.

While I didn't read the reviews prior to ordering, or even see that the description said you would not necessarily receive the exact notebooks shown (which is a bummer, because I loved the top left one), I did receive exactly what was stated I would receive. Minus one notebook that showed up as all purple (I could've spent way less on an all purple one if I wanted just a plain purple notebook). While I wish all 3 had shown up as a contrast designed cover, I did receive 3 notebooks with random covers. ... show more

The paper. Works smoothly with ballpoint pens and the lines on the paper are fairly light, which I like. Also, I like the 8.5/11 size.
