I like the rug and its size but it smells weird. It is soft and my dogs love it. The quality is nice and thick. 15 dollars was great for this little rug it fits in my room nicely. I haven’t tried cleaning it yet but I’m sure that will take away the smell too.

What an absolute disappointment. This rug is thin as can be. Has no pile to speak of. In the pictures, it looks awesome, in real life it is absolute garbage. It is so thin, it is not soft. the hairs are long and straggly not like the picture shown in the listing, they must’ve used hairspray.

Nice soft feel, 2-3cm of un compressable cushion, good price for what it is, looks like the pictures, not very slip resistant unless you mop the floors regularly. The worst part is that fresh out of the shipping vacuum seal, it smells horrendous, so wash it immediately. It recommends not Machine washable, but I was in a hurry and it held up well in the first wash&dry. ... show more

Addressing the other reviews: Smell: was very slight, nothing worse than any other new rug. It has completely disappeared now. Size: I have the green 9x12 shag. It is not true to size, about 2-3 inches smaller all around, which worked out perfect for me. 9x12 was pushing the limit with my space. Thickness: It is very thin, I bought an area rug pad from HomeGoods and it helped a lot. Non-slip pad on back: it still slips. The pad i used prevents it and the fact my sectional sits on top of half of it helps. The lay of fibers: As long as you vacuum it it stays fluffy. On your vacuum use shag/high pile setting to lift it up. As long as you have the rug secure with backing if vacuums just fine. My Robot Vac goes over it with ease as well. For the price this isn't a terrible option. Most rugs this size and in shag are $500 on the low end. I go through rugs about every five years so this a great disposable rug. ... show more
