ShadePro - RV Awning Fabric Replacement
Size: 18' (fabric 17'2")
Color: Walnut Brown
The awning is made very well, is very heavy duty and waterproof. I would recommend having at least 3 to 4 people to do the job. It was just two of us, myself and my wife, and it worked but it took a little longer than we expected. By the way we are in our 60's. Make sure you have a can or two of Food Grade Silicone to spray the channels as you slide the awning on. We knew when we first got started that we would need something to hold the excess weight of the awning as we were sliding it through the channels. (Hint the extra two people) We pulled my pickup truck up to the camper and used the front of it to hold the excess awning weight. After we did that, the process went smoothly and fit perfectly. I highly recommend the replacement ShadePro - RV Awning to everyone.

Happy purchase
Size: 15' (fabric 14'2")
Color: Pacific Blue Blk WG
Not hard to install! Good quality. On for a couple of years now and no problem! Would recommend a YouTube video to help installing. There are springs in the awning to be careful about and number of turns. Us two old people installed it!

excellent customer service
Size: 16' (fabric 15'2")
Color: Burgundy Blk WG
Had no problem with the install of the new awning, however, each time I retracted the awning it had a lot of wrinkles when fully retracted. I took some measurements and pictures then called SHADE PRO. I was surprised to have my call answered immediately by a very pleasant person that spoke very good English. I explained my problem and was ask to send my pictures. Within two hours after sending my pictures I received a text telling me what they thought the problem was, and that a replacement would be sent to me. A few day later the replacement was received and installed. I am very happy with the appearance and quality of the installed SHADE PRO awning fabric. Without their great customer service, this rating would of definitely been lower. I will add this just for information. During the first install I removed and installed the rolled up awning by sliding the top end in the camper mounting rail. This required three people because two had to hold the rolled up awning the third feed the top edge into mounting rail. The second time, two of us just let the awning unroll down the side of the camper and rested it on a couple of saw horses. I was then able to do all the fabric replacement by myself. I did need that second person to help me roll up the awning as we climbed ladders and placed the ends into the side supports. Needless to say, it would be easier to do the fabric replacement with two people.

Great replacement awning!
Size: 13' (fabric 12'2")
Color: Walnut Brown
This awning is high quality and looks great. Shadepro got this shipped to me in remarkably fast time so I could install before a 50th birthday camping weekend. Installation was easy and I am very happy with the awning and customer service at Shadepro.

Great Replacement Fabric
Size: 19' (fabric 18'2")
Color: Pacific Blue
The awning fabric on our 11 year old travel trailer had taken a beating after being stored for several years at our membership campground, being used infrequently and parked with the entry doors and awning facing the southern sky. Bad news, as over time UV rays and weather will destroy practically everything. I had never replaced awning fabric or hardware, but I know which end of a hammer is the business end, and after attending the University of YouTube, I was confident that I could get this done. After measuring the fabric (correctly), I placed my order and was amazed when the new fabric was on my doorstep two days later. The 19' fabric was 18'2", just as I expected, and was folded two or three times lengthwise, fitting into a box probably four feet long. The fabric itself is at least as thick, if not thicker than the Dometic power awning that had been on the trailer since we purchased it new in 2012. I managed to replace the fabric by myself, at the campground but it took six hours, and as many have mentioned, a second person to help guide the unwieldy fabric into the top channel at the roof would have been very helpful. Many of the complaints here are almost certainly due to user error, but to be fair, a lot of RV components seem to have been designed almost as an afterthought. Why does the roller tube have end caps that are riveted on, without openings for the fabric grooves? It's possible because there is an opening to allow lights or other accessories to be slid into the third channel. It's just a lazy, cheap design that allows for a few end caps to work with every roller tube around. Time will tell how long this fabric lasts, but for the couple hundred dollars I spent, it seems to be well worth it. I may need to make a few more adjustments to get rid of some wrinkles, but I'm happy with the product so far!
