Went far above expectations for the price…it’s as good and may probably be even better the the big name brands for a third of the cost. Lots of power and really digs in deep without any problem at all

So far very pleased with the performance. It is light and easy to maneuver with a good range of cutting heights. The only thing i don't like are the levers to loosen the top part of the handle. These are very hard to use if, like me, you have arthritic hands. To be honest I replaced them with a twist knob from an old lawnmower

This is a good mower. I brought it twice but each time it was missing the attachment to the mower handle. Twice we had to go to a store and get a nut and bolt that was missing in the package. I thought the first time, it was a mistake with the manufacturer but the same pieces were missing when I brought it again. So warning if you buy this mower. It performs well but be ready to take a trip to the hardware store to finish the set up.

Works amazingly well, but it is cheaply built especially the wheels.

I am really enjoying my new SEYVUM 40V 16-inch Cordless Lawn Mower. I have a nearly three acre yard that I have been cutting exclusively with my Cub Cadet lawn tractor. However, I needed a smaller mower to cut inside the various nooks and crannies without resorting to using a weed eater. I ordered the SEYVUM 40V 16-inch Cordless Lawn Mower with the knowledge that I would only be using it in those places where the lawn tractor could not go. I opened the box, and I was surprised to see a genuinely nice machine made with high-quality plastic. I was hoping to immediately try it out but first I had to charge the batteries – they had zero charge. After an hour and a half, I was ready to go. I easily lowered the adjustable height to its lowest setting, and I proceeded to cut around the perimeter of my nearly 4K square foot home. There was no indicator light to show me how the amount of battery charge remained, so I proceeded with this point of knowledge darkness. The SEYVUM performed well through a variety of tasks – it plowed through tall grass, chopped through semi-dry clusters of leaves and carried on after several encounters with quarter inch twigs. The end result was a nicely cut thirty-two inch border around my home – perfectly prepped for the Cub Cadet. The SEYVUM has one speed, but it rarely slows more than a trace. It is relatively loud, but I was wearing noise canceling headphones. The batteries lasted 25 minutes with about three restarts to adjust my playlist. After another 1.5 hours I was using it again on a steep slope. The tire/wheel is made of rigid plastic, so I was able to roughly manage it during this assignment. Again 25 minutes or so and it was back to the dual charger. I cannot believe that some dual battery lawnmowers only have a single unit charger – the SEYVUM unit can charge two batteries at the same time. I previously mentioned the high quality plastic for the SEYVUM mower chassis however the batteries and the dual port charger also deserve a shout out. The SEYVUM folks included well-made batteries that are relatively heavy for their power output – they rival EINHELL batteries for their weight and quality construction. The construction of the charger is also exceptional. I ran my SEYVUM lawn mower in “mulch” mode – I did not use the 45L Grass Collection Bag. The bag like everything else was well made, well conceptualized, and well executed. The SEYVUM lawn mower is a 3.6 star machine, however I am granting it an extra star because of its price point. The folks at SEYVUM discounted this machine at the time I ordered it. Even without the discount, the SEYVUM folks priced it lower than other “new concept” lawnmowers. I used the term, “new concept” because this mower and variants made by other companies share a variety of recent innovative design concepts. Yes, … the final star rating is five due, in part, to rounding. I understand that the only true five-star lawnmower is the twenty-one inch Honda Commercial self-propelled lawnmower which I recently owned until it supposedly fell off the moving truck. So, I am dazzled by the newness of the SEYVUM, but it is a good solid machine at its price point. I took the time to write a lengthy, perhaps too long, review, because I appear to be one of the first owners of this fine machine. There are a variety of things to consider before and after you take the plunge to acquire this machine. The first is to secure a second key to insert between the two batteries because all is lost if the original key is lost. The second is to pick up a second blade – the existing blade is nowhere as thick or robust as a blade from a “regular” lawnmower. I am buying myself a blade sharpener as well. The next point is to acquire a second set of batteries unless 25 minutes of running time is sufficient for you. I am assuming the batteries for the SEYVUM machine are proprietary. I have a family of batteries – EINHELL, Snow Joe, Makita, WORX, and so on but none of these worked in my SEYVUM machine. Oh, I am six feet tall, and I was able to position the handle perfectly for me. The BLUF (bottom line up front – albeit at the end) – “Yes, I would buy it again.”

Easy assembly but weak motor. Measured on a 10x loop it's only pulling 10.7A on a standard 120VAC supply (20A outlet). Far lower than the 15A motor advertised.
