Well, my hair is still a maniac, still not under control. It's good at making your hair smoother, less hairs poking in all directions. What I'm in search of (and didn't find here) A product that will help me tame my short hair. It's growing out, had to cut it for medical reasons and now it's growing back full force, I have a lot of hair, straight, and just moved from Arizona to Maryland. My hair went from a lovely child that was well behaved to a 4 year old over active terror that listens to no one. For real. I should take a photo to share. I do like how this tames the frizzy hair a bit. It really does take very little, it doesn't leave hair greasy, oily, angry, grouchy. It does however add enough to your hair that tomorrow morning when you wake up your previously crazy hair is now Chewbacca on a bad hair day. Sure, it styles my hair in my sleep! So I'm thinking this just wasn't the product for me. That being said it's a good product that doesn't weigh hair down, doesn't make it feel gross and tames the frizzies a bit, also doesn't take much, so I don't think it's fair to rate it low. I'm taking one star off because it does kinda give the impression it's more controlling than it is. Maybe it's because of my over bearing mother and going to a Catholic school that has my idea of controlling skewed, but this to me shouldn't be labeled control... Or maybe it's my hair, who knows. I have fairly short, but thick hair and don't like to use hair spray, but if I don't use something for control, my hair goes flat very quickly. So, I've always used a wax or pomade. However, the one I had used most recently is no longer made. Control Maniac was the 4th one I tried and I sincerely hope you never stop making it! It gives me just the right amount of fullness, control, and shine and I've received many compliments on my hair since I've been using it. Keep up the good work! ... show more

So I was on the lookout for the perfect hair product as my hair is very stubborn and doesn't really like to do much unless I have product to fix that. I tried Molding Clay and it worked for some time but I never got the result that I wanted. So I eventually moved on to another product and this was American Crew Fiber. The Am Crew Fiber was great again but it still just wasn't like volume I was looking for. So one day when I was out an about with my elders I did a walk in hair cut and the lady who cut my hair actually asked if I would like to try it. At that moment when she put Sexy Hair Control Maniac Wax in my hair I new it was perfect for me. It was able to keep my hair under control but not take away form its volume! As well as this I gel my hair everyday and I am still on the same jar of wax. This stuff actually does wonders to my hair and I hope it works for others such as me. ... show more

A clear thick product. Adds high shine and healthy look to my shoulder length hair. I just use a tiny amount on my palms and “comb” thru the lower portion of my colored blonde hair. Makes it look healthy and shiny. Avoid roots or on long hair as it would look greasy and make hair flat. I’m a trained hair stylist and I love this product on shorter hair. ... show more

I saw an Insta reel where someone with a similar cut to mine used this product. I've had short hair for a long time and have used lots of pastes, waxes, etc. This one looks greasy, especially if I try to layer it for additional control and texture. Not a fan.
