I took the time to make sure I installed it according to directions and am absolutely thrilled with this purchase. Because the double lines are a maximum of 13.5 feet, I needed to find a wall that was close to that in order to maximize my line length without going over. I ended up installing this on a wall in my bedroom, right by the window. When the sun shines in, my clothes dry quicker. Bonus that the line is right by my clothes closet so it's easy to put things away. It's worth taking time to think about where you will install this. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. A VERY STURDY product and I don't hesitate at all to recommend it. A wonderful space saver when stored away and really it doesn't take up any space for me when it is pulled out with clothes on the lines - I never use that space anyways. My college age son also purchased one and they have it in their laundry room. He has 4 roommates and they all love it! I paid approximately $57 for this item and it would make a GREAT wedding gift, high school graduation gift, or new home gift. Perhaps it's not for everyone, but if people would give it a try I believe they would love it. Don't forget to turn the lower knobs to "lock" the wires into place so they don't sag when clothes are on the line.

This is a very clever device with the fact it can be installed multiple ways and can be retracted to put out of sight. What we have notice that when I pull the line out and hook it to the wall mount, you need to put the lock on. When I lock it, it actually makes the line a bit slack. This results in a bit of a dip in the line when I hang clothes on the line on hangers. The slide together a bit. Clothes hung with clothes pins are fine. Just an FYI.

We had some issues with it retracting a couple months ago, I messaged the seller and they responded very quickly with some troubleshooting. Unfortunately that didn't work but they sent us a brand new one! So very thankful and love this product/seller.
