Every now and then there's an item that needs to be hung up, either to finish drying or to just prevent wrinkles. I bought a drying rack for my wife last year for all of her delicates, but I wanted a simple option for the laundry area of our house. This is the perfect fit, it's small enough to be out of the way when not needed, but strong enough to hold several items and let them hang, out of the way. Installation into drywall is a snap with the included drywall anchors, and I had this up in a few minutes. It says the cord can be used up to 13 feet, but we're only using about 6 feet, (the space our washer & dryer occupy in their nook) and it locks up nicely when either retracted or stretched across the area. I recently purchased the GorillaLine Retractable Clothesline and found it to be a great addition to my laundry routine. The installation was a breeze, and the retractable feature is incredibly convenient. I can easily extend and retract the line to accommodate different loads of laundry, maximizing my drying space. The only downside is that the wire is not as tight as I had hoped. When I hang heavier clothes, they tend to sag in the middle, causing some inconvenience. It would be great if the product included a way to tighten the wire. However, despite this minor setback, the GorillaLine Retractable Clothesline is sturdy, well-built, and has significantly improved my laundry routine. I hung the gorilla line in my laundry room. It was easy to install, works great, and is very sturdy. I was you unable to install the 2 pieces directly across from each other because of shelves, cabinets, etc. that were in the way, but it still works great even with it being a few inches off. My husband bought it and installed it for me. I think he used a different ancher to make it stronger. It was easy to install and it is very easy to use. I really like it. I use it on regular basis and I hang a lot of clothes on it.

I'm not sure if we have a defective product but the concept is nice. It is very, very slow to wind back up and the tension on the line isn't very strong. I can use it but only for about 10 hangers.
