So much easier than the plastic ones you have to use both hands with. They usually tear up too soon also. This one is made of very sturdy canvas and is large enough to carry all of my clothes for the weekly wash. I bought 2 of them, but I think it will be a long time before I need the second one. I have 6 kids. Got 3 of these bags in 3 different colors for my 3 youngest boys. We've had them 2.5 years. Very well made, hold a ton of laundry. They don't hold a smell (my 2 youngest play baseball and often put stinky sweaty clothes in the laundry). The padded handles are great for when it's extremely full and heavy.
