I purchased this to prepare blended food for my mother who has Alzheimer’s and swallowing issues. It worked great until it didn’t. The size was perfect, it blended the food perfectly and was super simple to clean. I had to use it twice a day and my heavy usage caused the plastic gear in the motor unit to melt. Customer service was quick to respond and send me a whole new set the first time it happened. This happened outside of the return window. I tried using it again and the same thing happened. I was very disappointed that it just didn’t work for me. This time customer service offered me another replacement which I declined.
