Description

Gorilla Waterproof Patch & Seal Tape Clear instantly seals out water, air, and moisture. With an extra thick adhesive layer and UV resistant backing this tape conforms to form a permanent bond indoors and out. At 4" wide use it to patch holes, cracks, gaps and tears, even underwater. Excellent for Home, Auto, Marine, Camping, RVs, Outdoors, and more!DIRECTIONS: For best results, apply the tape to a clean surface at room temperature. 1. Keeping liner on tape, cut tape to desired size. Tape size should be larger than the repair area, extending beyond all edges. 2. Remove the release liner and place tape over desired repair area. Tape cannot be repositioned once applied. 3. Rub entire surface of the tape aggressively,especially the edges.STORAGE: Store tape on the top and bottom disc at room temperature. Edges of tape may be sticky. SERVICE TEMP: -70°F - 180°FPerformance will be dependent on surfaces & conditions. Surfaces must be clean, smooth and non-porous. Water must be pressed out from underneath tape. Not for use on seams, applications under pressure (e.g. garden hoses), or automotive applications under the hood. May not adhere to silicone or water-repellent materials. May not work for all types of plastics and rubbers. Do not use to hang. Tape must make complete contact with surface to properly seal. Ensure water and air is pressed out and there are no wrinkles or gaps in the tape. Exposure to UV, high heat or humidity may cause product to yellow over time. Permanent: may damage surface if removed.

Great product as usual. It gets the job done. But just a small note, when you try to use it for the first time, take your time to open the seal tape. It's glued tightly and easy to mess up the very first part of the tape.

Knocked one star off for the price, as it only comes with 10 feet (not ideal if have large hole). Other than that, extremely good quality and a necessity to have in the house. My old vinyl covered tractor seat has some pretty serious cracks. AI suggested using this product from gorilla. It’s wide enough to cover and easy to stick in place. No signs of pulling away or splitting after several uses. Time will tell it it holds up in the long term. At this point I like it.

I used this to patch the side of my foam paddleboard that was crumbling from sun exposure. I made a ton of 8" cuts and used 3 rolls of tape total. I'm really happy with the results and I have already taken it for a test run in the water. The tape held up well. So I discovered this mystery rip on my pool liner the other day. About the size of of grain of rice right above the water line. Still scratching my head as to what caused that. Only thing I could come up with is that a spring from the cover which does have some sharp edges caught it just right as I removed the cover this season…anyways, I needed a quick fix and a buddy of mine recommended Gorilla tape. All patching inquiries say to cut a patch in a circle as square patches tend to pull off from the corners and eventually fail. So I cut a round patch and patched my small hole. You cannot see it until you are literally in front of it. Blends in quite well. So hopefully this lasts for years and actually becomes a permanent patch vs having to replace it. ... show more

I used this Gorilla patch tape for my above ground vinyl pool liner. It adhered really good for holes above the waterline, but didn’t work at all for underwater holes. The tape peeled off by itself within 1 day below the waterline. Very disappointing. Jim. Rhode Island
