I was unsure of the quality because of the price yet was pleasantly surprised once it arrived. I needed a futon that my son could sleep on when visiting yet that I could use in a studio apartment. The fabric is sturdy and easy to clean and unlike other futons its not hard as a brick. The only down side is trying to keep the dogs off because the color and fabric picks up hair easily (normally keep it covered ) It was super easy to assemble and came with everything needed. Beware not to flip out when you don't find screws and instructions floating around in the box it came in they put inside the velcro backing so to keep them from getting lost in shipping. Took me a minute to locate but was relieved afterwards because there was some damage to the box that was taped up by shipper and I thought they had been lost. This was purchased for a basement, and it’s perfect size for that or a small living room. It’s pretty low to the ground. I’m 5’4” and I sit comfortably. The tree in the background is 3.5 feet for reference. Very cute! Exactly as pictured. Again, I’m 5’4 and I can lay down with my head and feet touching both ends. I would say this would probably get uncomfortable for people over about 5’8”. Easy to assemble, except for the wood that blocks the screws in the front. I had to dig it out with a knife. Overall, great quality for the price! It’s serta, so pretty comfortable! Lastly, I didn’t see people talk about how great the storage place for the assembly tools/instructions is. A cool way to keep everything with the item. Love the secret compartment! ... show more

This top half of the review is for a new purchase. We purchased the faux leather beige version for our RV and it is perfect. It totally fit on top of the draw that we took the old sofa off of. It is so comfortable and a perfect sleeping sofa as well. I wanted a convertible style sofa/loveseat for my office and this completely works. I love the size. It is a contemporary design and as a result it is not an old school seating where women's legs will barely touch the ground. Anyone can sit in it. I knew that coming into the purchase and love it. Looks Great. I believe it will hold up well. We are actually going to purchase a 2nd one to replace our sofa in our Travel Trailer. For it's application we will not use the legs, we will attach it to the drawer that is under our current sofa. This fits perfect. ... show more

Without going into excruciating, unnecessary details, across the board this product is pretty decent with the one major exception of size. Mainly, the part where you sit, not the backrest. It’s a bit shallow. It’s tough to slouch very comfortably, and it feels a bit like you’re sitting on the edge all the time. Setup was easy, and it’s certainly not a bad product, but after just 6 months, where I may sit in it for a few hours a day, it’s already lost quite a lot of tension in the springs. It sags quite heavily these days, and the fabric is quite loose due to this as well. The cons of this product lead to a 2 star. The price, general quality, and overall value place it close to a 4 or 5, so a 3 star feels quite perfect here. Definitely something temporary to have for a year or so, then throw away. ... show more
