This Kitchenaid beater is a great product. I’m still not sure it is stainless steel though. It isn’t shinny. But anyway, it’s functional.     • Not actually stainless steel.
It fits, but it's not actually stainless steel. the wires are, but the base is aluminum with a chrome-like coating that gets destroyed if you mistakenly put it in the dishwasher, after which the base sheds gray powder any time you touch it.
