We previously had a Serta iComfort Savant Plush king-sized mattress. Since they no longer make this brand, we had to find something equivalent or better but also not break the bank. After much searching, we resigned ourselves to the fact that we would probably have to go to a mattress store to figure out what kind of mattress felt best for us. But, then, I received a notification about a deal on the Serta Perfect Sleeper 12-inch King Gel Memory Foam. With only a handful of reviews, it was a little bit of a risk ordering it, but we are so happy we did! It arrived on time in a large box, which we were able to bring upstairs with just me and my husband together (one person could probably do it, but it is a large box and pretty heavy so it’s better to have two—it took two delivery men to drop it off). It was easy to set up, and it did take a few days for it to get comfortable. It was very firm at first which we were a little unsure about, but then as it fully-fluffed up, we found it getting more and more comfortable, although still firm. The instructions said it would take about 3 days to fluff up (which is accurate based on our experience), but the instructions also said you can sleep on it right away (even though it’s not as comfortable for the first few days). The better quality of the bed was definitely much more noticeable after a few days of having it out. We really like it and haven’t had any back problems since getting it. We used to always have back aches with our previous old mattress, and now we haven’t woken up with any aches since adjusting to the new mattress. We are primarily stomach/back sleepers, and this mattress is great for that. It’s definitely not a bed you want to just flop into because of its firmness, and you don’t really sink into it either (which is what we wanted). It’s firm but not too firm to the point of being uncomfortable. This ended up being a really great purchase for us. PROS: fast delivery; firm and not too squishy (if that’s your thing); easy to set up; material seems durable; great price ($989); great for stomach & back sleepers; can sleep on it right out of the box (even though it won’t feel its best until at most 3 days) CONS: no one to take away an old mattress (unlike buying from a store which might offer these services); firm and not too squishy (if that’s not your thing); the box it came in wasn’t very durable and came open while trying to move it (but that’s not a huge detractor, in my opinion, but it could be to some)

We purchased the xl twin as we have a Calif king split. The mattresses we had were Serta foam medium and we loved them! We went back to the store where we had initially bought them and wowza they were $3200 each plus $75.00 delivery. We thought that was pretty costly. These were delivered right to the door! We are in our 70’s and we got them both upstairs, unpacked and set them in another bedroom to inflate for a couple days. Tonight will be the first night although this morning after getting them all moved onto our bed and made up I confess I took a nap of about 90 minutes. These mattresses were around $900.00 and delivered to our door. They are more firm than our previous mattresses and since I have a double cage in my back I love it. I didn’t want to get up off of it! Even if we had to replace then in 5 years we still saved money. So far we are very happy. I am pretty sure these mattresses are the same grade as our Serta mattresses we had before. We have 100 nights to try them, plus they were delivered free, the guy from UPS who delivered them actually set them inside for me. We saved &4400. I was terrified to buy mattresses online I thought you had to go all over town to “try it out!” No, with Amazon they offer an excellent selection, a great value plus they really stand behind their products from my past experiences. I’m expecting no problems with these two mattresses; I think Amazon does a great job of selecting its products for the consumers. I will write another review on the other twin mattress once we have slept on them for a week or so. For now, don’t be afraid to buy a mattress online, they are the same quality as in the expensive furniture stores or mattress stores. The delivery is free and easy. You save a ton of money! What could be better!

Buy this Mattress. We have been looking for something that will alleviate back pain and is compatible with an adjustable base. From the first night this was it. We also upgraded size to a CAL KING as we have small doggies that take up a LOT of room, and our old queen size was not cutting it (also a Serta BTW). We installed at the hottest time of the year, invested in some quality 100% cotton bedding and could not be more pleased with our investment. Bought on Prime Day-so saved a significant amount over local mattress companies pricing and the Serta website, as we shopped both prior to purchase. I am not one to "try" mattresses out at a store (sorry, but EWWW). This Mattress comes with a 100 DAY guarantee, so you bet we will review again at that mark if anything changes. Winner so far! **Well, I am a bit past the 100 day mark. This mattress (along with the adjustable base we purchased) is still the Winner. We wake up with no back pain. Put a breathable cover on the mattress (must have in all climates) and found great 100% cotton and down bedding. This bed is seriously comfortable. Get one.
