Very solid and well built. I bought it for over landing initially but the wife loves it for grocery trips. Runs great via 120v from the house or battery pack. The slide is the selling point! Solid and works great! Easy to use with dual compartment when needed. Take the divider out and it instantly knows to only cool one zone. The baskets in the fridge are handy but we have not used them yet. The easy / soft close lid is also another great feature I wasn’t expecting. Great for keeping people from breaking it over time. I needed a cooler for my car in order for the health dept to approve my meal plan business model and get my permit, and this was the best unit at a great price! It fits perfect in the trunk space of my Honda fit, and the cord is the perfect length from my car adapter and the unit. It cools super fast, and even stays cool inside for a long time when it's unplugged. I also use this for any catering jobs or pop up promos im hosting. I purchased this AC/DC cooler to use on camping trips. Packaging was perfect with no sign of damage. However, once unpacked I discovered a dent in the side next to the vent (and in the vicinity of the compressor.) I plugged it in 110V, and ran it overnight. It appears to work fine. I'm not so concerned about the dent, but if the unit fails in, say, a year, I want to record that the unit arrived damaged. I contacted the manufacturer and they blamed the dent on UPS. I tried to hit them up for a free cover to hide the dent [;)] but all they offered is 50% off. Other than that, I like the look and design of the cooler. Used this in my 13’ custom trailer build. Got tired of having to deal with ice and soggy food. Right out of the box I was impressed. The build quality from ICECO is fantastic. Let’s talk power consumption! This is being used with a 700ish watt hour “solar generator” that I have a 200w panel for. On cool nights once the sun goes down it will drop the power station about 10%. If it’s 85 all night I could see a drop of 20-30%. I did a test run and got 48ish hours in my garage at 70 degrees without any charging of the station. Now for noise, or the lack there of. We use this out in the desert mostly where we have had it out on 95-100 degree days. If you have a kid with a tablet on within 10 feet of it you can’t hear it at full power. My boys use it to set there tablets on in the shade and watch movies. My RTT is directly above this and you don’t hear it, it doesn’t vibrate, don’t even know it’s there at night. Now the only Con with this unit. Temperature control is not the best. I’m still trying to figure out what temperature to set it where all my food inside doesn’t freeze. Set at 48 degrees seems to be where only my bottom layer of food is frozen. Any colder and everything is at a point right before I think it came out of the deep chest in the garage. First two trips couldn’t pour milk for the boys, solid block. Only thing I’ve had an issue with. Would I recommend switching to this, YES! Absolute game changer for going out and staying for 4-5 days knowing I don’t need to drive 40 miles to get a bag of ice! Love this thing. ... show more
