I have enjoyed this mattress for a little over a year now and its just as comfortable as the day I took it from the box. I was worried with the thinner 8" but so far so good. Still solid, no rips, loose threading, etc.. I do wish all mattresses would avoid white though. bought this mattress for both my kids, its perfect size and is very comfortable, there was no smell on either of them (i have bought 2) it expanded fully within a day or two, and is perfect quality for a kids bed or a guest bed

This mattress is a complete disappointment and nothing like what was advertised. I purchased this product after reading reviews, examining pictures only to be utterly let down by what I received. The mattress is uncomfortable, lacks the support it promised, and the materials feel cheap and flimsy. The product description made it sound like I was buying a high-quality, durable mattress that would provide a restful night's sleep, but that's far from the truth. It's barely better than sleeping on a cheap, old futon. I feel completely deceived by the false advertising and cannot believe that a company would mislead its customers like this. I’m out $300 dollars but Amazon will let me exchange it for a crappy platform bed. If you're considering buying this mattress, save your money and look elsewhere. This purchase has been a huge waste of time and money, and now I’m stuck with a mattress that’s far from what I expected for my 79 year old mom!. I would not recommend this product to anyone and am extremely disappointed with the entire experience. ... show more

    • Comfortable Inexpensive Med-Firm Mattress
The Box arrived without any product documentation inside. I read the Amazon reviews so I would have a good idea what i needed to do. One caution I will add is make sure you don't have a sharp object in your hand when removing the plastic. The compressed pressure on the springs is released all at once and the mattress jumped up and hit my hand when removing the plastic. Like most mattresses that use Memory foam it has a Chemical smell when first opened and needs a day or so to air out. The smell is not as bad as that from a full foam mattress I previously tried. Once I put a mattress pad and fitted sheet on it i did not notice the smell. It took 48 hours for the mattress to expand to the full 8 inch width. I was actually presently surprised that this mattress provided the Comfort and support I needed and was wanting in a Firm mattress. I have a expensive extra thick Hybrid Mattress but I don't like that I sink down into it and with this inexpensive one i don't have that issue. How long this mattress Holds up is the unknown but at this price point i won't feel bad about replacing it when that times come. ... show more
