This is a good mattress pad. It fits well, has deep reach with the attached sides, good elastic, and a reasonable fill. It's not super thick, all pictures of these sorts of products exaggerate the fill, like the picture of a burger at McD's. But it's pretty good. Maybe an inch of rise to it in it's daily-use state. It is ACTUALLY hypoallergenic. Unlike numerous things which claim to be on amazon (trust me, i'd know). Mine is on top of a 2" natural latex pad (on a very firm, but very durable, mattress). The latex does 'far' more for cushioning an overly firm mattress. This just adds a breathable & soft top layer. I'm very happy with the combo. If you wanted this to soften a bed, I don't think it would be sufficient, it's too soft for that. Anywhere there's real weight, it compresses completely and basically "bottoms out". It more just cradles up around where you lay to cradle you a bit in a way which doesn't feel supportive, but does feel 'cozy'. That's really what this is for. And it does that well. If you want padding, get latex (beats memory foam any day of the week and twice on tuesdays). If you want a cozy top, this is great. If you want both, they're great together. ... show more

Love this! I just wish it was maybe an inch thicker and the corners were a tad longer to fit on the mattress a little better. It’s super great quality though so I’d recommend. I just personally think 3 inches would make it the comfort level I was seeking. It’s fluffy though which I wanted.

My husband and I couldn’t be happier with our Serta mattress topper. Our name brand mattress is so firm that both of us would wake up in the mornings stiff and sore. We tried two different foam toppers but they made us way too hot, so I wanted to find a topper without foam. After doing quite a bit of research, I ordered this topper. It arrived quickly. When I unboxed it, it looked pretty thin, but I understood it had been vacuum sealed, so I shook it and laid it out to breathe for 24 hours. It puffed up some, but it wasn’t nearly 2 inches, as advertised, so I decided to put it in the dryer on delicate for about 20 minutes. That made a huge difference! When I put it on our queen bed I could see it was a well made, high quality topper. It’s made from a soft fabric that feels durable, it’s stitched well, and all the quilted pockets were evenly filled and fluffed so it looked exactly as described and pictured in the advertisement. After sleeping on it for about 2 weeks, we both agree it has made our bed comfortably soft and stays cool. We’re sleeping so much better now. It’s been the perfect solution for us!
