We didn’t want to go to the store to shop for a mattress, so we decided on taking the risk and buying one online. We first bought another brand off Amazon that was horrible- never inflated properly, dents on the sides, just terrible. Didn’t go with the Zinus brand due to all the claims of fiberglass and even a lawsuit against them for this reason. Soooo we thought we’d go with Serta, a well-known, trusted brand and I’m SO GLAD WE DID! The mattress fully inflated within less than a day and once we got to finally sleep on if we had the best night’s sleep in a loooong time. No pain, no discomforts no complaints! I was unsure of what type of mattress to get, and after telling the salesperson who was following me around a local store that I just wanted to look on my own they were really relentless. I obviously left without purchasing anything from them and decided to just go with this because it had good reviews and I didn’t have someone talking at me the whole time I was trying to make a decision. For my Spouse's dreamland, it replaced a ten year old mattress that had seen better days. We decided, with my coaxing, to buy the Serta brand for a little more assurance that the product would meet expectations and, importantly, her comfort needs. She is delighted and so am I. This mattress is not particularly heavy, and easy for an older gent to wrestle into the frame, so that in itself was a big plus. In my wife's very cool suite, full inflation out to the last corner took almost two full days, but she was able to sleep well enough after it being out of the wrapper only about 8 hours. I have purchased mattresses from Amazon before and by far this brand one, is the most expensive and the worst. The mattress is not even 9". Some areas go as low as 6" and the mattress is distorted from the corners. I would avoid this mattress it's way over priced. I would not pay $100 for this. I will be expecting a refund, as this thing is going back. Avoid yourself the headache/mess and just go to a furniture store or mattress store and check out mattress before you buy. Avoid this mattress its no good. Also please not that Amazon wants you to put this item back in a box or to package it in a box or they wont refund you or return it. They should disclose that before selling matrress. If i were you i would not by a mattrress from Amazon period or you will be stuck with it unless you place it in a box.. Dont buy!!! ... show more

    • I love Serta brand but not comfortable like my old Serta mattress. Also very firm.

I loved it but even after sleeping on it few weeks it's very uncomfortable and nothing like my old Serta mattress which was heavenly. This one is also much more firmer than described.
