I got this unit for a 10x16 insulated shed. I can feel the cool air coming out & even placed a fan in front of it to help boost the flow...but this thing is not cooling the room at all.

We use this for glamping in Florida and it works very well. We used the heater function in December when it dropped to 50 degrees and it worked well to keep us warm. The drain hose that comes with it could be a bit longer, but overall a great product.

I read the other reviews and so far so good. Im in NYC, in April. I've used it on hot nights when it was 80⁰ outside and the heat was still on and cold nights when we had to bring the plants back in because the news said frost advisory. It's quieter and the condenser kicks over more efficiently then my last one. It does make a clicking sound before it kicks over but I think that's just the thermometer checking the temperature. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I'm having trouble connecting it to Google Home or Samsung SmartThings. The customer service number is here in the city with me, but no one ever answers. The remote has to be aimed Dead at it too. ** Update: I have been going back and forth with tech support in email. Very disappointing. Do not buy...Two for two... I purchased this unit for a very small basement area in our home. The first unit would not cool down the space, which is less than 300 sq ft. Room is 12 x 12! The compressor on the AC would run for 2 or 3 minutes and then shut off. I tried everything to make it work but ended up having to deal with returning it. My mistake was ordering the same exact unit as a replacement. New unit arrived and does not work any better than the first unit. The product is junk and the AC behaves the same way. Runs for a few minutes, does not produce cold air and then turns into a blower... Don't waste your money on this product as I'm having to go through the hassle of boxing it back up to return it. As a side note, the build in wifi will not connect to your internet unless you have all security removed. My network blocked the connections from both units noting them as malicious connections. Clearly made in China and probably has some kind of network sniffing software in it that most routers block. ... show more

The heating and cooling functions are okay and actually function better than swamp coolers and space heaters alone. The window attachment is not ideal. I had to buy additional stuff for it. It is a loud thing compared to space heaters. Because of the tube size, it takes up a little more space than "ideal". Been using it for a few months and the remote died. I swapped batteries and even tested for the signal using a tool I have. I reached out to their support twice via the website and haven't heard back. Overall, it's okay, not the best solution, takes a lot of electricity (so you cannot have that + other items on the same power line), and their customer service hasn't gotten back to be about the dead remote. Bought this in the winter to keep my office warm and cool in the summer time. The heater works ok but the air conditioning in a 200 square ft room just can not keep up. I purchased two, this model and the previous model. Both performed about the same. I would look at other options unless you got a very small space like a closest. I replaced them both in less than 6 months just because they could not meet sq ft expectations ... show more
