We were hoping this air conditioning unit would help with our backroom. We have a small room off our living room that has no air vents in it. The air-conditioning never really reaches out there and it gets hot, very hot. We were very happily surprised by how cool it got not only the room but the rest of the house as well. I don't think our house has ever been this cool in the summer. It was so easy to set up that we had it up and running moments after taking it out of the box. It is very quiet so it doesn't disturb anyone during the night.It also has a great dehumidifier in it. That has been so handy during the rainy season. It is an amazing addition to our home. It is small enough not to be intrusive and is very powerful. If you are looking for a way to beat the summer heat this will do it. One of the best features for our house is there is a remote control. I love that I can adjust it no matter where I am sitting in the room.

This portable a/c unit is a good size for cooling a large room of approximately 200 square feet. I bought it to put in a large bedroom. The portable design was a lot easier for me to manage installing than a window unit because I didn’t have to worry about having to secure it from falling. This unit has an exhaust tube that extends like a dryer hose to exhaust warm air outside. All I needed to do was put the window install kit in an open window, I didn’t even have to remove the screen. The size of the window doesn’t have to be too large, allowing this to work in places where a typical window unit would not. A bit of efficiency is lost in the portable design but the benefits far outweigh that for me. This unit let me specify an operating temperature and it will work only to maintain that set point so it doesn’t run all the time. I’m able to adjust the temperature by remote from bed if it’s too cool. It is pretty quiet running, I only really notice the fan noise, not the compressor running.

That’s the opening to every response I have gotten from “Pyle Support” Since I contacted Amazon due to no service manual being included with my Room Air conditioner. With the hot spells we have experienced in California, I decided it was time to get something to cool my room down. I looked at the Portable Air Conditioners here on Amazon. I decided to go with Serenelife SLPAC19B. The unit arrived a few days before it was scheduled to arrive. I removed the packaging and removed the securing tape from the unit. It looks pretty sharp. I brought it into my living room and put it in a good spot to circulate around the room. Before I plugged the unit in I went back to the box and looked for an instruction booklet. The was no instructions. So I contacted Amazon Support. Amazon directed me to the manufacturer’s website. I left a detailed message about no instructions and did the unit need water or filters to change… The basic questions I had before I started trying to use this beautiful Box of cooling. I messaged the manufacturer on July 18. I received my first response on July 22. The customer service person gave me a link to the owners manual (PDF). Which was cool. When i finished reading the owners manual I realized I didn’t get a remote control and a few other items the owner’s manual said came with the unit. So I contacted the customer service rep on July 26, to mention the remote control. On July 30 I get a response from The CS rep asking if i got the link to the manual. I responded yes, I got the link and had looked through the manual… NOT A WORD about the missing remote control. This AC unit was far from cheap and I didn’t get all the parts!!!! The worst part of this experience is the customer service rep knowing i would see what else I was missing never asked or mentioned by the way did you get… I am missing the manual, Remote and a couple other pieces according to the PDF version of the manual. I needless to say have no faith in the company that manufactured this. They have me with a horrible purchasing experience. They do not have a clue about customer service or ensuring customer satisfaction. Don’t give them you money…. Buy from another manufacturer. The AC is not that bad, but my customer satisfaction will stop me from buying another product from this manufacturer.

This 10,000 btu AC is a lot of bang for the buck. I was tired of ugly, heavy AC window units but never thought a portable AC would produce enough cold air to make a significant difference in a large bedroom but it does. We live in a pretty cool climate but the 3 summer months can be brutal. This has been working great all summer, even when the outside temp is over 90. I like the three in one feature to use it as a fan, a dehumidifier or an AC. I have only used it as an AC. There is very little condensation on the outside and it runs quietly. ,making it a great choice for the bedroom. It was easy to install and the window kit is simple to use and modify a bit if necessary. I do not think I will ever go back to heavy in-window units.

I love the overall design of this portable AC unit. It is not too heavy and lightweight enough to easily transport and move it around from room to room. The portable AC unit comes in a neutral gray color, which matches well with any existing decor you may have in your room. It includes a remote control that you can easily control the settings of the AC unit, without having to get up at all. The remote control range is excellent and accurate. I can angle the vents so that the cold air blows towards whichever direction I need it to. With it being on wheels it is very easy to roll it and move it around from room to room without a hassle. My room is about 310 ft.² and it can cool my room down so quickly and I am able to enjoy the cold air in no time. Overall, this is a great product and a great designed Portable AC unit that is practical and excellent at cooling down any space.

It's great honestly and I haven't run into any issues with it. The way yo empty out the water build up in the ac is a bit confusing, I wish I could fully remove it but we've kinda just poured it out if the machine in the shower. Idk if thats safe but we'll see if it breaks bc of it.
