  • Portable AC
Color: White Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
This portable AC works really well and I’m very happy with it. The cooling power is strong and it really does make a difference fast, keeping the whole room comfortable even on hot days. I like that it’s not just an air conditioner but also has heating, dehumidifier, and fan modes so I can use it year-round instead of just in the summer. The noise level is surprisingly low, it’s much quieter than I expected, which makes it great to run in a bedroom or office without being distracting. It was pretty easy to set up with the window kit and I also appreciate that the filter is removable and washable, so it’s simple to maintain. The design is nice too, sleek and compact, and the wheels make it easy to move around from one room to another when needed. The Wi-Fi control is convenient because I can adjust it right from my phone without having to get up. Overall, it’s powerful, efficient, and reliable, I think it’s a great option if you need something portable that actually works well. ... show more

  • Affordable solution for a shed
Color: White Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I wanted to turn my large shed into a usable workshop. I have power to the space but it didn’t have any climate control to make it comfortable to be in for long. This portable until hooks up easily to a window and has the capacity to heat or cool a 650 square foot space. That’s a bit more than I need but my insulation isn’t great so I opted to have more. It does a great job of cooling the space fast this summer and it has been super hot out. It has wifi control so I’m able to turn it on remotely and I like to do that about 30 minutes before I go out. I like that it is has an inverter to allow variable speed compressor operation, which ensures optimum energy efficiency at every temperature setting. This unit also has heating, dehumidifying and fan modes so I’ll be able to comfortably use the space year round. It’s very easy to set up, I find it so much easier than putting in a window unit. I’m very happy with how well this works. It is powerful and runs pretty quiet. I can comfortably work in my shed, it is exactly what I needed. ... show more

  • Disappointing
Color: White Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
For starters, the unit arrive two days late, even though I could see the delivery truck it was on was within a few miles of my house. Apparently, the delivery driver didn't want to unload this heavy thing that day. I bought this to replace a 5 year old Whynter heat pump that cooled and heated the third floor of our old Victorian house. This SereneLife unit was lighter, had an inverter compressor, and an app to control it, so I thought this would be an upgrade. As others have noted the window mounting kit is cheap garbage. I already knew that and plan on making my own window mount out of painted plywood like I did for the old unit. The app is nearly useless. I have an app for a Midea window unit, and that app gives me so much more information. This SereneLife app doesn't give any feedback. It doesn't even tell you if the compressor is on. For comparison, the Midea unit gives me the real space temperature and watts being used, so I know if its working or not. No such feedback here. My biggest problem with this unit is the lack of an internal condensate pump like the Whynter unit. I am an engineer, and can't understand who would design a unit like this where you can't easily drain the condensate. The lower plug is so low that as others noted, its below the level of the thick carpet the unit sits on. I installed the unit last night, put it in heat mode, and this morning the display is telling me its full of water and needs to be drained before it can operate again. That was less than 10 hours of operation in the heating mode. For comparison, the Whynter unit had a third drain port that was connected to an internal condensate pump and you could easily run the small drain house out through the exhaust hose. I guess I am stuck buying a $50+ external condensate pump so I can actually use this unit. Very disappointing and short sighted by the design engineers. UPDATE October 31, 2025 This thing is even worse that I thought. I spend the $50 and install an external condensate pump. The hose that was included with the heat pump connects to the higher of the two drains, so I connected it from that drain to the condensate pump. It's been 50 deg F outside and this unit shut down after a day of operation because the internal water tank was full. How does this happen? What is the purpose of the upper drain and why do they provide a hose that clearly doesn't even do anything? There is no way to actually drain the lower drain without spilling a bunch of water on the floor because it's so low to the ground that you can't get any shallow pan underneath it. This is beyond stupid. Avoid this unit and avoid this manufacturer for designing and building such as useless product. ... show more

  • Almost the perfect unit Almost the perfect unit
Color: White Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
This portable AC unit came so close to being a perfect 5-star product, and I’m genuinely sad I can’t in good conscience give it that last star. Everything about the performance is fantastic: it looks sleek, it cools my new apartment far better than my old unit ever did, and the WiFi connectivity is a great bonus; being able to adjust settings from my phone is incredibly convenient. Best of all, it’s whisper-quiet. My box fan is louder than this AC, which is impressive. So why only 4 stars? The hose connections. The included window inserts technically work, but the design is frustrating. The hose adapters are the same size, so you can’t connect them directly... you have to use a third extender piece that pushes the hoses farther apart. That’s fine if you have a large window, but I have a smaller one, and I needed the opposite: the hoses closer together. Unfortunately, there’s no way to nest or adjust them, so I ended up stuffing materials around the inserts to hold them in place and block air leaks. It works, but it looks janky and feels like a big oversight for such a pricey unit. Overall, the cooling power, quiet operation, and smart features make this a fantastic AC — but the poorly thought-out hose connection system drags down what could have been a flawless product. ... show more

  • BEWARE! NOT 14,000 BTU UNIT AS ADVERTISED - is 10,300!
Color: White Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I specifically purchased this unit last October for the upcoming cooling season. STRIKE #1 After recently unboxing for the cooling season this year, I realized the manual lists the unit as 10,300 BTU DOE rating and 12,300 ASHRAE rating. So where is the 14,000 BTU as advertised? In checking the Amazon ad, if you click on specs in the drop down menu way down on the ad, that’s where it says 10,300 and the model number that matches what was sent. FALSE ADVERTISING at its best! STRIKE #2 The window install kit is absolutely HORRENDOUS and doesn’t allow both hoses to fit one standard 32 inch wide window without modifying the panels. While I didn’t figure how to cut them yet, they wouldn’t even stay aligned in the window correctly or stay out when closing the window, and I had to tape them temporarily and fit one hose in one window and one in the other until I can figure how to fit them both in one window. (Bad design - they should have included two small adjuster panels.) STRIKE #3 Setting up WiFi was clunky at best. After experimenting with button controls, I finally figured it out. Wish it had a reading for room temperature in the app. Aside from these serious negatives, the unit seems to be working well in the cool mode. Luckily my room can handle the smaller BTU rating. In low mode it is relatively quiet, but tv volume still needs to be increased to accommodate the noise. Don’t have a way to measure the decibel rating, hope that isn’t falsely advertised. I like the castors on it that allow you to wheel it around and the air filter is easy to access for cleaning. The remote does work, although I haven’t used all the buttons on it and is a nice alternative if the app doesn’t work. Haven’t tried the heat or dehumidifier settings, as I mainly wanted a unit to cool with the extra options for winter use. Make sure your room can handle the lower BTU rating! ... show more

  • You can tell the difference very quickly
Color: White Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
Works well and runs quietly. Things that are worth noting on this unit are firstly just how quickly it is able to cool down a space. Perfect for our bedroom after a hot day where our noral A/C can't cope - we put on about 20 mins before going to bed and room is perfectly cool in time - this is where having an app to operate the machine is amazing as we can switch on and off from our phoes without needing to go upstairs. Secondly, it is VERY quiet, so again ideal for use on our bedroom but would also seeing it be perfect for kids rooms or an office as very little running nose at all. Really glad we've made the investment although was purly for the summer, love that it also has a heating function ready for winter but more impressively it can also be used as a dehumidifier as well as a 'traditional' fan so you really do have all your needs to catered to in one impressive unit - would msot def recommend to others. ... show more

  • Almost perfect
Color: White Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
The onkly issue, and it's minor, the adjustable window frame attachment almost certtainly needs to be cut, you would have to have a huge window not to have to cut this. They mention this in manual. They don't mention how to cut this. It is both flexible and yet brittle at the same time, don't try to use a hacksaw to cut it. I tried that and immediately cracked it. Stopped that and used a vibro saw which made quick work of it. The unit itself is great, quiet, powerful and loaded with features, joined wifi quickly, easily controlled by my phone as well as the remote. Cooled and dried a 500' space quickly on a very very hot and humid day. ... show more
