Runs a standard flow 2 GPM shower no problem in the South. Could easily run two showers with lower flow rates. Have had this working for several months without issue. A lot of plumbers will try to steer you away from electric hot water heaters such as this one, but I highly recommend them. You don't have to deal with venting as you would a gas heater, the electric heaters are more compact, and maintenance is easy if you install it correctly. Before installing this, make sure to pick up a tankless how water heater bypass valve/isolator kit for easy cleaning. The bypass kit allows you to hook up a tankless water heater flushing kit that uses a bucket and pump to circulate an acid solution through the water heater to clean and descale it. You can get the flushing kit later, as it won't need to be cleaned for at least a few months. The 13KW model specifies a 60-amp double pole breaker and 6 AWG copper wire. Make sure you have space in your panel, and the ability to run wire to the installation location. Depending on how far from your main electrical panel the water heater will be installed, the wire may be the most expensive component. Installing the water heater closer to your main electrical panel will mean a lot less expense for wire. If the water heater location is more than 100 feet from your electrical panel, you may need to use 4AWG wire to avoid voltage drop. Consult your electrician in that case and prepare for an expensive wire run. NM-B wire can be used, such as 6/2 with ground, or if you can run conduit from your panel to the water heater you can use three 6AWG THHN or XHHW wires. There is a knockout on the water heater that will work with conduit. Overall build quality of this unit is very good. The finish looks great, and the connections are all easy to make. Efficiency is hard to calculate because it depends on your usage, but this will only use power when hot water is running, without wasting it to heat up a large tank 24/7. The main benefit is an endless supply compared to a tanked heater.

We got this unit for the trailer and couldn't be happier. Not only do you get hot water you get hot water anytime you want. We ran 3 showing cleaned up dishes all within an hour and never had to slow down for not enough hot water. The unit allows you to set the temp you want and forget about it. The digital display shows what it's doing at a fast glance. Installation was super easy two lines in plug and go. Total time including mounting the unit under the sink 20 mins. That's huge and anyone can tackle thos easy job. Huge value deal because you can do yourself and still have a functional unit up and going fast. The Senville 13KW Tankless Electric Water Heater works great! It works as expected well. The water output is constant and linear. You must understand how Tankless water heaters work prior to purchasing a Tankless Water Heater in order to properly size it for your demand needs. Basically, they rapidly heat the cold water that is entering the unit to the set output temperature to give you hot water. Performance greatly depends on the temperature of the cold water going in, and the demand. These are your basics. If you need more details, then you may have to do a bit more research on your own. Let's talk about this great performing unit. Please consider the fact that I live in South Florida. Cold water is not very cold. To summarize, this unit gives me about 2.5 to 3 GPM of 120 degree water depending on demand. This means that I can easily run two showers at the same time with no degrate on the output temperature. Do remember that when you use the shower you mix the water and if your shower output is at 1 GPM that means you only use about 0.5 GPM of hot water. Therefore, you have plenty of hot water for two people to shower at the same time. The unit is very small and can fit in a small place. It hangs on a wall. You must bring electrical power to the unit of 220 volts. You can either hardwire the unit or install a 220 V outlet and plug it with a similar electric cord as you use for your electric dryer or electric stove. This is best done with someone that knows electricity, but it is not a big deal. The supply lines are 1/2". You can use flexible water lines for heaters or you can use hard pipes directly to the inputs. A valve in the supply line is highly recommended. You may also need a plumber for this if you are not familiar. Obviously, this goes on the Cold water input and hot water line output. These types of heater can save you a lot of money especially on a vacation home or even your own home especially when there is no heavy and continues hot water demand. Ideal for a couple. They ONLY heat water when needed VS an electric water heater that constantly maintains hot water whether you use it or not. Hot water output is instant. The moment you turn a hot water source and the flow begins the water is heated instandly! The Senville 13KW Tankless Electric Water Heater works as expected. It is a well made unit. While I cannot attest to its longevity, I can attest that if it fails, it is extremely easy to replace, as you have the electrical and plumping in place. Assuming that you use flex supply lines, you can replace it in minutes with ANY unit regardless of brand. Depending on YOUR location, they pay for their initial costs very quick.

I hooked it up and no Hot water! I am a Technician by Trade and know i had the Water line flowing properly and 220v AC supply correct as well! I have attempted to contact manufacturer and no response to my email and i just tried to return it here thru Amazon and the "Continue" button is not "Lit up" to go on with the Return Process so hopefully this Review will do something!

Hot water while camping! Heck yeah! It mostly works great. It can be finicky to adjust and the flame will sometimes get blown out if its windy, so if you are filling up a big tub you need to keep an eye on it to make sure you are getting hot water throughout. It works great for the price, and easy enough to operate. No regrets!
