Runs a standard flow 2 GPM shower no problem in the South. Could easily run two showers with lower flow rates. Have had this working for several months without issue. A lot of plumbers will try to steer you away from electric hot water heaters such as this one, but I highly recommend them. You don't have to deal with venting as you would a gas heater, the electric heaters are more compact, and maintenance is easy if you install it correctly. Before installing this, make sure to pick up a tankless how water heater bypass valve/isolator kit for easy cleaning. The bypass kit allows you to hook up a tankless water heater flushing kit that uses a bucket and pump to circulate an acid solution through the water heater to clean and descale it. You can get the flushing kit later, as it won't need to be cleaned for at least a few months. The 13KW model specifies a 60-amp double pole breaker and 6 AWG copper wire. Make sure you have space in your panel, and the ability to run wire to the installation location. Depending on how far from your main electrical panel the water heater will be installed, the wire may be the most expensive component. Installing the water heater closer to your main electrical panel will mean a lot less expense for wire. If the water heater location is more than 100 feet from your electrical panel, you may need to use 4AWG wire to avoid voltage drop. Consult your electrician in that case and prepare for an expensive wire run. NM-B wire can be used, such as 6/2 with ground, or if you can run conduit from your panel to the water heater you can use three 6AWG THHN or XHHW wires. There is a knockout on the water heater that will work with conduit. Overall build quality of this unit is very good. The finish looks great, and the connections are all easy to make. Efficiency is hard to calculate because it depends on your usage, but this will only use power when hot water is running, without wasting it to heat up a large tank 24/7. The main benefit is an endless supply compared to a tanked heater.

We're still getting used to the tankless water heater life, and so far it's great. We had it professionally installed since no one in this house has the knowledge or skills for such a thing. The person who installed it reported no issues or difficulties. The hot water doesn't show up much faster than before since we installed it in the basement and most faucets are one or two floors above. That said, once it comes, it keeps coming, no matter how long you shower (says the long shower queen). I'm very pleased with this upgrade.

We got this unit for the trailer and couldn't be happier. Not only do you get hot water you get hot water anytime you want. We ran 3 showing cleaned up dishes all within an hour and never had to slow down for not enough hot water. The unit allows you to set the temp you want and forget about it. The digital display shows what it's doing at a fast glance. Installation was super easy two lines in plug and go. Total time including mounting the unit under the sink 20 mins. That's huge and anyone can tackle thos easy job. Huge value deal because you can do yourself and still have a functional unit up and going fast. Hot water while camping! Heck yeah! It mostly works great. It can be finicky to adjust and the flame will sometimes get blown out if its windy, so if you are filling up a big tub you need to keep an eye on it to make sure you are getting hot water throughout. It works great for the price, and easy enough to operate. No regrets!

I hooked it up and no Hot water! I am a Technician by Trade and know i had the Water line flowing properly and 220v AC supply correct as well! I have attempted to contact manufacturer and no response to my email and i just tried to return it here thru Amazon and the "Continue" button is not "Lit up" to go on with the Return Process so hopefully this Review will do something!
