The heater is nicely designed and easy to use. All the parts are included except a propane tank and garden hose. We mounted the heater in our outdoor shower and use it frequently. Our well water is about 48 degrees so the heater would only warm the water to 96 degrees which is still great for an outdoor shower but we wanted a little hotter water. Using a 100’ garden hose coiled up by the heater allowed the water to warm up to 110 degrees. We love this heater and it was a great value. ... show more

I had high hopes for this water heater. However, it failed on all levels. When I attached everything exactly according to the directions and turned it on, a large orange flame shot out the bottom of the unit. Then, the water temperature varied a lot moment by moment, no matter what temperature I set the thermostat at. At that point, I decided it needed to be returned, so I turned it off and detached it from the propane, and set it on a table. A couple minutes later, I saw that there was still a flame ignited inside the unit (again, despite not being attached to propane), and the unit became so hot that I burned my hands. The attached photo shows what the bottom of the unit looks like after this all occurred (total running time was 1 minute). On top of all that, the unit feels flimsy. I wish I had anything positive to say about the unit other than it looks nice. ... show more

    • For the money it’s perfect
It’s not as nice as the luxury ones out there but for the money I have zero complaints. The temperature settings are very sensitive which can be annoying when the tank and unit are out the window and you’re standing naked in the shower. But it’s been a great little unit for us. I’m super impressed and will not hesitate to get another. Set up was easy and the water gets scalding hot. Give it a shot! ... show more

I bought 20 of these for my business. I use them outdoors always. At first I was having trouble keeping the pilot lit only because it was a windy day but after fabrication everything is going well. I’m getting all my sinks at 120 degrees with no problem

I just hooked this up for the first time ever and it doesn't work and it's too late to return exchange or get a refund for it. Id recommended that you immediately test anything bought from Amazon before the 39 day return window is over because Amazon absolutely sucks 💯

The media could not be loaded. Needed to build an outdoor shower because we have too many roommates and 1 tiny bathroom. This thing is amazing!! For make sure you have the propane hooked up properly otherwise it won't heat up. Fantastic water Heater. My 11 yo son loves using it. Came with everything we needed. Worked great at 12 am when my dog got sprayed by a skunk also ... show more
