  • High quality, low price
Color: White Size: Tri Zone (3) 12000 BTU
This system has been great. It kept my house so cozy during winter, even in temps as low as 3° F. Now temps have been getting up to high 80s and it keeps my house cool and I'm confident it will continue to do so when the heat waves hit in July. The air quality has improved a ton since it was installed, even with 3 indoor cats. Everything was installed by an HVAC professional as a side gig for a really reasonable price and I added a UV light to the living room head unit. I think this is a great system and I would definitely buy it again. It's very quiet, has a lot of customizable modes and is easy to use. ... show more

  • Great unit
Color: White Size: Tri Zone (3) 12000 BTU
I have had very good luck with these. I have two, 3 head units and so far very happy. Quite, cool very well, and I had a good experience with tech support. Spoke to a tech that was very knowledgeable and spoke clear English.

  • 8/10 would buy again
Color: White Size: Tri Zone (3) 12000 BTU
The media could not be loaded. Once the unit is installed, it works exceptionally well. It is quiet, easy to understand, and very efficient (measured to less than 20A running full out heat mode on all 3 heads at once). Haven't had the chance to test the cool feature yet except to run the temp up like crazy in the room and then cool it back down, which worked very well. Cost wise, there are other units on Amazon and other retailers that cost less. I've seen those units installed and there is a reason I paid a bit more, and I think that the Senville unit is worth the extra cost. It was super easy to install once we realized that the directions are incorrect in many places. The unit is solid, well built, and does not feel or look like some cheap knockoff. In fact it is probably the best built unit I have seen except for top end systems from top end dealers (we put in a hospital grade system in our last house, this is only a few steps down on build quality). The included remote control is like most Mini Split systems. Basic, IR, and kind of a pain to use. The nice part is that any one remote works on all the heads. The down side is that any one remote works on all the heads. What I mean is it remembers the settings, you go in another room, click a button and whatever you had set in Room A is now in Room B. This is nice and frustrating at the same time. I installed the system with the help of a couple teenagers and a HVAC installer friend. We found everything to be well built and easy to assemble once we figured out what needed to be done. Thats the good. The bad, the Digital Assistant (heavily edited, it won't let me put it here) integration that ships with the unit is bad. You cannot change the unit of measure. It starts as Celsius and the device "Measuring Units" setting is not enabled. It does not work on the web, only on the phone version of the Digital Assistant. From what I can tell it also does not work with the Dot. Mine is a child edition Dot so that may be the reason. Forget about adding it to your favorites since it does not show up in the list. When you try to navigate to the unit, the application thinks you want to change settings, which is really just the ability to rename. That is enough about that integration since it may improve over time. Next up, when installing the new Aura units the documentation says to open the electrical panel on the unit. The book, the online manual, and every YouTube video I could find appear to show a different layout than the unit I received. I attached a short video showing the newer panel style. Once the correct access points are identified the panel opens and provides access to the electrical connections. This part of the design is impressive. They clearly thought about the setup and there are several options to route the main power in. You will notice my next nit pick here as well. There is a connector for a wired thermostat, which is great. Finding a compatible thermostat or wiring information is difficult. I was unable to find documentation explaining how to connect a standard thermostat. Hopefully they publish more information or provide an adapter since it would be nice to integrate with a standard thermostat instead of relying on the remotes, a device specific application, or the integrated Digital Assistant. Speaking of the Digital Assistant, this is when you would normally install that module. The module looks like a USB device which makes it a little confusing at first since the USB port is located behind the front control panel rather than the electrical panel described earlier. Once the front panel is removed the USB port becomes visible and the module can be installed there. One last note. During installation our HVAC helper noticed that the refrigerant valves on the outdoor unit ship in the closed position. This initially made it look like there was no refrigerant in the system until the valves were opened during commissioning. All in all, I will spend the money on Senville next time. Well worth it. The things I pointed out are fairly small issues that could be improved with updated documentation or accessories. ... show more

  • Great Product

Bought a multi system unit to cover new additions to house. Used one in 500 sq ft room with 12 foot ceilings and other 2 in 1000 square foot room with vaulted 16 foot ceilings. Units work great and provide good heating and cooling

  • LASTED 1 YEAR
Color: White Size: Tri Zone (3) 12000 BTU
I purchased the tri zone system, had it professionally installed. It worked 1 year and went out. I contacted the company and was told it's not under warranty but they could sell me something else for $600.00 more. I spent way too much money to now have to spend MORE money. Buy something else!

  • Great Unit, Excellent Price
Color: White Size: Tri Zone (3) 12000 BTU
I reserved judgement until I received a few electric bills. The cooling quality and efficiency is outstanding. The dehumidifier does a much better job than my portable dehumidifier and it never needs emptied. This unit is not quite as efficient with heating but it still is less expensive than my available alternatives. I've seen mini-split units that are not as good as this one for almost double the price. This is a great unit and I would recommend it to anyone. The only complaint I had was it was a little difficult to install. Most other units I have seen have a removable panel on the front so that coolant lines can be easily connected after the unit head is hung on the wall. These heads lacked that panel so, in most situations, you have to connect the coolant lines first and then hang the head while, at the same time, fishing the lines through the hole you cut in the wall. This is nearly impossible to do this by yourself, so just plan on having some help with that part of the process. ... show more

  • I'd recommend going with another brand. Extremely frustrating.
Color: White Size: Tri Zone (3) 12000 BTU
I really liked this unit at first. Then issues started happening when I'd switch between using the wifi and controller to change the settings. The wifi on this thing is awful. I am tempted to just pull it out and throw it away which is unfortunate because that was a major reason I picked this unit. Now in my son's room it just blinks with no temperature setting because it doesn't know whether to use wifi or the remote and I can't get it back. For as much money as I spent on the whole process I am pretty disappointed in the unit overall. I've had more frustrating moments than happy ones with everything. The unit in my room now clicks really loud when heating up and wakes us throughout the night. I would really consider going to another brand. ... show more
