Is this comparable to a $400 mower? No. It is, however, budget friendly and gets the job done. My 14 year old mower finally aged out and I needed a replacement. Keep in mind I mow 5 acres. My Gravely ProTurn 460 handles 99.9% of this. What I do need is a small push mower to “cut in” around the pool, fence, shop, walks, and up close to the house/landscaping. This thing fits the bill! The power is good, it’s light, and decently sturdy. It would be a great mower for a smaller 1/4-1/2 acre yard. When assembling the handle, 180° the instructions for the left side drop-down orange wing nut. The way you can get up against a fence, especially chain link a not drag/hook. A couple of dings: I wish it had a “mulch flap” instead. You have to plan your direction in tight quarters. The wheels are overly cheap. Not sure about their longevity. And if you hear a dinging sound, it’s not Hector from Breaking Bad behind you. The pull cord recoil is tight and makes a ringing sound if the handle flexes too far. Overall, I’m impressed. Nice little mower for the money!

This mower is GREAT! Out of the box, there was basically no assembly, just snapping the handle into place and tightening it down by hand. NO TOOLS REQUIRED! Starting dose of oil provided, a little bit of gas, cranked on 1st pull, and it was very quiet for a mower. Very lightweight too! Easy to adjust the height, again, no tools needed. I have RA, and have stiffness and weakness, but even I was able to start the mower, and was so happy! We bought it for some areas we can't get to with our riding mower, and rarely make it to with the weedeater, so they were pretty grown up with weeds and baby trees. This mower ate right through it with no trouble. It is a great little quality mower, and definately a great value for the price!

The purchase was very easy and the mower arrive on time! That is a great benefit. I recently purchased something from another vendor online. They lost the package and refused to refund my money or resent the item. So I closed that account! I will only buy from Amazon now. I had a little difficulty getting the top handle on, but it was an issue with me, not the mower itself. This is an awesome mower I am able to start it quickly. It runs very smooth and is easy to operate. I couldn’t have purchased a better mower. It has taken care of all my mowing needs. An additional benefit was the cost was lower than other mowers I had looked at, so I am very happy with this item.

I've used this mower 4 times now and these are my impressions. It came assembled, which was nice. Just had to unfold the handle, fill with the premeasured included oil, gas up, prime, and pull to start. Takes 3 or 4 pulls to start, not terrible. This thing has a lot of plastic parts. Pretty much everything but the deck, muffler, blade, handle and engine block. On the plus side, the preponderance of plastic parts makes it pretty light-weight so fairly easy to push and maneuver. Also, plastic wont rust. But my concern is how it will hold up in the long run. I have a largish, uneven and mostly graded lawn. It's not an easy mow. Only time will tell how it stands up to this. As far as power goes, the 125 cc engine certainly doesn't feel overpowering, but as long as you aren't mowing very thick or long stuff I think it's probably sufficient. I wasn't able to mow for nearly 3 weeks before I got this and it did okay. But I tend to mow higher than most people, around 3 inches (which is actually what is recommended by most lawn care experts). The height adjustment levers are nice and easy to operate. Much better than having to take the wheels off and move to another hole as with older push mowers. All things considered, I’m not dissatisfied with this purchase.

The mower arrived well-packaged and fully assembled. Setup was straightforward and easy. Although it’s a bit heavy, it operates smoothly on both flat ground and slopes. After using it for a month, everything is working as expected, and the noise level is acceptable. It did stall once when I tried to push through a particularly tall and dense patch of weeds, but overall, it handles tall grass quite well and performs reliably.

I found the information for this product was very poorly presented after purchasing the product and reading the product manual. After I receive the lawn more and trying to fill the gas tank with gas, there was no information on exactly how much gas it would take to fill it up properly. Furthermore, there was no information as to exactly how much oil it would take to fill the oil tank properly. When I used the information from the product manual to find this out, I was asked to give a credit card number in order to answer the question which also said it would be immediately refunded? I don’t think so. This was very annoying and concerning. Why do you need my credit card number to answer a question about your product when I’ve already paid for it with a credit card? Furthermore, The access to the oil orifice was very difficult to negotiate. I thought Briggs and statin was a good product. The information was very difficult to find Without offering my credit card Number to get the information! Boo! The information provided about the grass catcher when considering the purchase of this product was not included, and the information on the product manual does not state if a grass catcher accessory is available to purchase with a side discharge. Being a first time buyer, I did not realize this may be a problem. It would’ve been really nice if this information was stated in the reviews for this product. Can you believe the wheels fell off after the third time of using it-unbelievable! I had to tape them on to finish mowing the lawn.
