I was so happy when I found these Alexa-only bulbs. I started replacing the Kasa bulbs in my house with these bulbs over a year ago. Set-up is a breeze and I've never had any issues. One of the last Kasa bulbs I had was in the light fixture on my front porch. Like most of the other Kasa bulbs I had in the past, it stopped working and wouldn't reconnect. I tried to use a regular LCD light bulb, but the fixture is about 23 years old, and it wouldn't work. I’ve used these lights for about 4 months now. When they’re working as they should I absolutely LOVE them. I like being able to control the brightness through Alexa. Unfortunately I’ve had some of the same problems as the other reviewers. I have about 16 lights and they do randomly disconnect from Alexa. Having to go through the recommended reset steps is a pain. I’ve had luck recently with just restarting the Alexa device to get them to reconnect. It’s much quicker this way. Additionally, one of the lights has already stopped working. I see they are advertising a 3 year warranty and I shall soon find out if they will honor that. If my experience is anything like the other reviewers I don’t expect to get a response from the seller. They are definitely over priced if I will need to replace a bulb every 4 mths or so. I like the bulbs but they require maintenance and attention. If you don’t mind doing that then I would recommend you purchase. If you want to plug and forget…these are not for you. I probably will research other options when I go to replace the bulbs. ... show more

We are happy repeat buyers of these light bulbs. Why repeat buyers? Don't they last. Yes. They do last. Our first purchases from December 2020 are still going strong!. As standard light bulbs burn out, we are replacing them with these smart bulbs. This allows us to set the brightness, add it to a routine or turn it off/on with the Alexa app on our phones.     • If you like wasting your money and your time, these are the smart bulbs for you!

They lured me in with a special offer and I got my first bulb for 99 cents. Everything went great, I even ordered more. I loved them at first. And then I didn't. Why? Because suddenly out of the blue they disconnect and stop working. And then you get it set up again, if you even can get it set up again, and then it might work again for a day, a week, a month, or even a year...but sadly it's usually a very short period of time that it stays connected and you're definitely not going to get a year. I have wasted more of my time, life, and money trying get these bulbs to work. Flip your switches 5 times and they blink so you can set up. Flip your switches 10 times and it re-sets. Supposedly. The Sengled app works like crap. I'm currently trying to set up my hall lights (yet again). The Sengled wifi doesn't show up in my list of available wifi. Now I'm getting a message that "Some brand setups are temporarily unresponsive. I'm out of the return window now. I'm hoping these bulbs die before I do so I can order reliable smart bulbs. I may start drinking heavily and just kill the bulbs myself and call it a day. #sengledisnotyourfriend 6.29.2021 And there go the office lights. Worked this morning, then 2 of the 4 lights in the room stopped responding. Now it’s all 4. Now time to carve out and hour or two out of my life to fix them…again 🤬 7.31.2021 the gremlins are back. This week the lights in the hall, the office and bedroom decided to stop working. I don’t have time to deal with this, AGAIN, but if you enjoy wasting your time constantly resetting things then I highly recommend that you buy these. 9.30.2021 the hall lights haven’t worked in months no matter what I try. The office lights work, then don’t, then they magically work again. The nightstand hasn’t worked in a few weeks and won’t reconnect. I hate these bulbs! Funny how all my Kasa smart plugs have ZERO issues, I’m going to see if they make bulbs too and get those and be on my merry way. So, it’s official now, with ZERO regrets, I am finally giving up on these bulbs. They are a nightmare and a huge time suck on your life. But by all means should you have nothing better to do with your life and money, then you should definitely buy these, they will keep you busy. DO NOT BUY THESE BULBS! And folks, that is my final answer. 12.14.2021 Once again I can’t begin to tell you how much I hate these bulbs! I finally gave up and bought Kasa dimmable bulbs. Easy set up, work great. Buy Kasa unless you like wasting your time (A LOT of your time!) on trying to get the Sengled bulbs to reconnect after they magically stop working. And even if you can get them reconnected you’ll go in to the Alexa app and see that “device is not responsive”. These things are trash, DO NOT BUY THESE!!! ... show more
