It is a small and simple machine. it looks nice even on small countertop spaces. It comes with 2 filters for single or double brews. There is also a scoop/tamper to fill and press the coffee into the filter. I like that the water tank can be removed for refilling. The results for the espresso will vary with the coffee powder you use. A fine ground creates more creamy results. It is up to your personal taste. If you have a grinder at home, you can experiment how fine or coarse you like your espresso. I do prefer freshly ground coffee for the best results. After turning on the machine it needs a couple of seconds to warm up. The coffee it produces is tasty and hot. For a cold coffee you can use the cold brew option. The steam wand completes the machine. There are a few shortcomings with this simple machine. There is no setting for the amount of water it will use for one brew. You need a big enough cup to hold the defaults. Making two cups at a time gives only half full cups, or If you like americano, you need multiple brew cycles to get full cups or boil some water separately. You cannot lower the spout to avoid splashing when using a small espresso cup. The power cord is not very long. I needed an extension cord to reach an available socket. If you are on low budget this is a good entry level machine which gets the job done.

I've had home espresso machines in the past in this price point (none of them pump driven), and this machine is much better than the others I have used in this range. The instructions are easy to follow if you have used an espresso machine in the past. The machine is very simple. Parts seem heavy-duty for the most part. It comes with 2 sizes for filter baskets - single and double shot. The included tamper could be better. It's hard to get a nicely compacted puck with a plastic tamper. Maybe this is intentional because the pump can't provide the needed pressures for more tightly packed grounds? Maybe it was just overlooked? I dunno. With the included tamper the crema is present but thin. The steam wand is not the best I've used. It takes a second when you turn it on to heat up properly and shoots water instead of steam. I've followed the directions and it seems it's just the design of this. What I do is just have a glass of water to start the steam in to prevent my milk from being watered down too much. This complaint is within what I expect for an entry-level home machine - it's still quite good overall. I love the refillable tank. The best part (other than the yummy coffee) is that this machine has a great profile on the counter and is quite sharp, but still compact. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to a friend, it's nice for what it is.

Been drinking espressos from at home for years. Like to see new functions on machines when they happen at a decent price. This works extremely well heats quickly and the pump does not have a problem with getting through fine grounds like I prefer. The cold coffee feature is nice I probably will not use that but the frother does work well a little temperamental at times because it didn't want to get steam out it insisted on squirting its little streams of water out so I guess it's a learning curve that I need for the machine and its temperament . Overall it took probably about 10 or 15 minutes to get the unit primed for use I was ready to toss in the towel but it finally started working. Very nice design very easy to clean .

The media could not be loaded. I don't know what was wrong with this machine, but I couldn't get it to make a single cup of coffee. Not on the hot coffee mode, not in the cold brewing mode, nothing. The instructions were vague and confusing, and the troubleshooting guide couldn't explain what the machine was doing. It really is a shame, but it would be a waste of money to buy this in my opinion.
