These are easy to use for a 4 year old (and her grandpa) She had lots of fun for at least 45 .minutes! When you change a channel, the button scans. It does not go one by one. So stopping them both on the same channel takes a quick thumb.

I purchased the Selieve Walkie Talkies for my kids, and they’ve been a fantastic addition to our outdoor adventures. The devices are user-friendly, making it easy for my 3 and 10-year-olds to operate independently. The sound quality is clear, and the 3-mile range allows them to communicate effectively during neighborhood games and camping trips. This was a gift for my kids and they do love them becuase they can be other places in the house and talk to one another. There are so many features it can do along with a flash light. The communication between the two is pretty clear. The down side of them is other people can get in the same channel and I don’t feel comfortable with that. There is no way to keep anyone from crossing your channel. I would not recommend for safety. The color is just like the picture and makes it fun for kids.

I bought these walkie talkies for my niece and nephew, and they’ve been a hit from the moment the batteries went in. The 22 channels give plenty of room to play without interference, and I was surprised at how clear the sound quality is — no constant static like some other kids’ sets we’ve tried. They’re lightweight but feel sturdy, and the buttons are big enough for little hands to operate without frustration. The kids have been using them indoors, in the backyard, and even on a short camping trip, and the range has been impressive for the price. Battery life is solid — they played for hours without the low-battery beep kicking in — and the bright colors make them easy to spot when they inevitably get left in the grass. Overall, these are a perfect mix of fun and function. They encourage imaginative play, keep the kids off screens, and actually work well enough that the adults end up joining in.

Great radio, people on here that don't read the directions are complaining about interference. There are 22 different channels with 99 sub channels for each one, this gives the possibility of 2200 different channels. There is no possible way to not find a open channel that is clear. My daughter who is 7 loves playing on this this thing. great radio.
