The instructions for this item are incredibly poorly written (and translated), if you can find them at all in the box. The cup itself is nicely sized at 12 ounces, and has a nice handle that feels quite sturdy. The cup is definitely bottom heavy, so there's little to no chance of accidentally tipping it. The mug generally arrives with somewhat of a charge, but they recommend fully charging it before use. The trick with this item is the on-off 'switch' - which is NOT a switch or button at all - but really just a sensor. After a lot of back and forth with the seller (who's communication was stellar) - we realized that a fast 'double tap' was the trick to get it to turn on, and then single tapping to change the temperature! There is no pushing or clicking button - it's JUST a sensor. I tried the warmest temperature first, and found that to be way too hot, so I dropped it to the lower temp of 122 degrees, and that kept my coffee at the perfect temperature. There are a number of complaints about the lid, and how it just rests on top rather than clicking or snapping on. For me, that's not an issue, as I do not intend to travel with this cup. It is entirely too large to fit in a cup holder, even though it is 'portable' from the charging base. Overall, this is a less expensive version of other similar items out there, and worth the spend.

The touch sensitive switch on the unit I received was non responsive. Its a shame because it looked like i was going to enjoy it and the price was good. Perhaps i just got a lemon. It happens. I had to return it.

Smelled like wires were too hot. Coffee tasted like it was burnt -smoke. No problem returning so that was worth a Star.

Fairly satisfied with this mug. It keeps my coffee warm and at an ideal temperature when set to 140F. Has an adequate battery life to ideally finish a cup or two at a decent pace. Looks great and it is easy to charge too. It cleans easy, as all the coffee markings even after leaving it in for a while, washes off easily. The size is okay and can hold 8oz without feeling like its overly full. Quality is about middle of the road and gets the job done. The touch pad to change the settings is not smooth and requires multiple presses to find the sweet spot occassionally. The lid could have been better designed as it does not stay on easily and is more like an after thought. If it had a better seal, it would help preserve the heat and battery life, so that was a bit unfortunately. Overall, I do like this cup and its an affordable alternative to the named brands.
