LOVE this litter bot! My two cats took to it immediately. They have been using it for about a week. I'll list the pros and potential cons below. **Pros: *Extremely easy set up/installation. Putting it together was a breeze. They also provide clear instructions on how to put it together and how to get it set up via the app. I tend to get overwhelmed with instructions and these were very user friendly and I had no trouble at all, which I highly appreciated. *It's pretty quiet when it cleans. *It comes with two mesh sifters so you can rotate them if one needs to be cleaned. *It cleans after every time the cat uses the box, so the litter stays clean for each use. This is one of the best parts to me because with a standard litter box, I can't be there every single time my cats use it to clean it out, and my fur babies use it from 10 to 13 times a day between the two of them, and even if I were there, I wouldn't want to keep up with the box after every use. I can tell my cats appreciate a clean box each time they use it. They stopped showing nearly all interest in their standard box. And how do I know that they use the box as often as 10 to 13 times a day? That brings me to my next pro... *The app tells you how frequently your cat(s) use the box. I find this feature interesting and useful. It can help monitor how quickly you may need to change the bag from the bin below. (You can also simply pull the bin out and look.) *It saves so much time and effort. This is the other favorite pro for me. While I had two standard litter boxes for my cats, they preferred only one which meant that one filled up quickly. The litter would get stuck to the bottom and I'd have to do a ton of scraping to get it cleaned up. I also hated breathing around it due to allergies and not wanting to breathe in the smell and the dust particles of used litter. It was also hard on my back. The litter bot does all of the cleaning for you, sifting the perfectly formed clumps and emptying them into the waste bin below after every single use. *It saves litter. With the standard box, I often scooped up good litter with the larger clumps, and the scoop wouldnt sift it well enough. The scoop also let a lot of unclean litter back into the box when clumps broke apart which would require more scooping from me. The litter bot reserves good litter remarkably well, separating the clumps from the clean litter to near perfection so that when you pull out the waste bin all you see is perfectly formed clumps of litter. *Easy to clean. It was simple to put together and it is simple to take apart if you need to clean the sensors or anything else that would require taking it apart. You also don't need to remove the litter before taking it apart to clean. *The app seems pretty simple to use and is straight forward overall. There is a potential con to this that I'll list later. *It's highly affordable. I looked at a few other litter bots and the price tag was pretty steep along with having subpar reviews. If I was going to pay 700 dollars for a litter bot, it better work to perfection; however, a lot of the ones I saw had too many cons. Then I saw this one and read the many positive reviews. I weighed the negative against the positives and decided to give this litter bot a try. I'm so glad that I did. It's been wonderful. Highly affordable and it works wonderfully well! *Litter output isn't as bad as it was with the standard litter box. I think that's because less gets stuck to the bottom of their paws since the litter bot cleans after every use. I was a little concerned that they might scratch a ton of litter out of the box as they did with the stard one, but they haven't. The way it's designed must help with that. There is a little collection tray that slides into the bot to help collect litter when they step/jump out. It does collect some, and I just empty the particles back into the box. Litter does still make it onto the floor, but it hasn't been too bad with my cats. *You can set it to manual or automatic for cleaning. I appreciate this feature because if the automatic doesn't work, it will manually. **Potential Cons *The sensors are very sensitive. (This is actually also a positive). While you want the sensors to detect your cat being in the box and that the box needs to be cleaned, if particles get onto the sensors, it will keep the litter bot from automatically cleaning the box. I found this out over the weekend when the box showed a flashing orange brush and the app telling me the waste bin was full. I changed the bag from the bin and slid it back into place, expecting the blinking light to cease and for it to resume automatic cleaning. It didn't. I looked up the potential causes. I tried them all except one-- cleaning the sensors. Up until I cleaned the sensors I thought I had received a defective unit, but it wasn't the case. I took the carriage that holds the litter out of the cradle and cleaned around where the waste bin slides in. I gently cleaned the sensors that were there along with other parts that needed a little cleaning, put it back together, plugged it back in and it worked! I list it as a potential con because, for some, it might not be something your willing to do, especially if it's often; however, I think if you change the waste bag before too much collects in it would help. Personally, I'll take this any day over breaking my back scooping litter. It's very simple to clean and takes less time and effort than scooping litter. *The sifter is about impossible to remove, although it may be to user error. I fear that I will break it trying to get it off, so I have chosen to leave it on there and just clean it as needed while in the carriage. Personally, it's not a deal breaker by any means. It's very easy to clean even just sitting in the carriage. At most, it's just frustrating. *In regards to being pet-friendly, the bot did not register one of my cats being in the box one time. One of the cats jumped into the box right after the other cat and the bot started cleaning with her in the box. It did not stop. This could be dangerous if the cat doesn't jump out when it starts moving. This is the only con that worries me. I don't know if this is also due to user error or if the sensors detecting the cats were not cleaned at that time or what; however, I'm going to figure it out. I will edit my review when I find out. I'm glad that I can set this to manual so it won't clean until I tell it to for safety until I figure out why it did this. *This last potential con could very well be due to user error. I can't figure out how to get the delay time to work. Currently, the bot cleans it about 30 seconds after the cat uses the box. It's fine as long as only one cat uses it and the other cat doesn't jump into the box right after the other. They often use it one after the other, so I need to get the timing to delay for safety. Overall, I'm very happy with the litter bot. I will update my review when I figure out the delay time and why the bot started cleaning with my cat in the box.

I’ve had this box for 16 days. My rating for the litter box is 5 stars, the app is 3 stars, and customer service is 0 stars. Within the first few days, the app stopped recording my cat’s activity. I eventually discovered an update for the app that corrected the issue. Then 7 days in, but only 3 days after my 8 pound cat started using the automatic litter box, I received an error code 3 indicating that the collection bin was full. It wasn’t close to being full but I emptied anyway; however, the error message wouldn’t clear. The manual said to clean the infrared sensor as a troubleshooting step. That did nothing. I entered the issue in the feedback section of the app. In the meantime, I offloaded the app and re-installed it. That cleared the error. I also bought Armor Hammer Slide litter which is 99.9% dust free and fast clumping. I cleaned the box and transitioned my girl to the new litter, and we haven’t had a recurrence of the error. Everything has been working well for the last 8 days. As of 9 days after submitting my support question, it is still sitting in the initial status of “processing”, so zero customer support. In terms of the box itself, it works well. I only have one, 8lb, female cat. She’s a digger and was throwing out quite a bit of litter, but I changed the sand protection level to 3 on the app and that along with the change in litter solved the issue. If you have a larger, male cat who likes to stand while urinating, I would not recommend this box. It’s too open. There’s no comprehensive manual that explains all the functionality of the app. I’ve had to hunt for answers, but I’ve seen comments from others struggling with some of the same issues that I have, so hopefully this information helps. I’ll update this review if I learn anything additional. UPDATE- Zero stars all around. It seemed to be working fine for 4 weeks, and then the error message 3 -Full Collection Bin reappeared. This time, nothing is working to clear the error: emptying and replacing the collection bin, cleaning the infrared sensors, restarting the machine, deleting and reinstalling the app. We’re going back to the old litter box. We have a couple of trips planned over the next several months and this “automatic” litter box is just too buggy and unreliable for peace of mind. I don’t want our pet/house sitter to have to deal with another malfunction. I only have one 8lb cat, so the convenience when it does work isn’t worth the headaches when it doesn’t. Also, pretty sure the app has spyware. My internet gave me a privacy warning that went away after I deleted the app.

I've been very happy with this automatic litter box. It was easy to set up, and my cat adjusted to it much faster than I expected. The self-cleaning feature works well, keeping the litter fresh and greatly reducing odors around the house. The waste bin is spacious, so I don't have to empty it every day, and the machine runs quietly enough that it doesn't bother anyone. I also like being able to monitor and control it through the app, which is a nice convenience. The open-top design gives my cat plenty of room and doesn't make them feel confined. The safety sensors provide peace of mind by stopping the cleaning cycle if my cat approaches or enters the box. Overall, this has saved me time, reduced litter box odors, and made daily maintenance much easier. If you're looking for an affordable automatic litter box for one or multiple cats, I'd definitely recommend giving this one a try.

About 3 weeks in. It’s better than the last one we had. I’m not sure any of these are perfect but this one has a pretty big little area and the scoop system is in a better position so it misses much lass waste. The app is easy and it works. My cat is 16 lbs. and she is fine with it

I bought this for my daughter who has 2 large male cats. One whom is very neurotic. I set up the box and was very easy to put together and program. I put it in a different place because it is larger than their previous litter house. That was a mistake. The 1 cat was very good and used it since the start. Other neurotic cat would not go near it. He peed in the floor. He peed on clothes. He pooped in his bed. Very bad kitty. So I put this in same spot as his old litter box and unplugged it. I gave him churros to get him into the litter box. He did not like it facing out into the open so I turned it towards the wall. He started going in and when I saw him leave I gave him a treat. I only turned on and emptied box 2ce a day and he was always curious but still kept using it. After 3 days I turned it on to clean 3 times a day. Now he used it all the time and it is on automatic clean. He has not peed or popped anywhere in the house. Be patient if your cat does not like at first. It is the best thing g I bought for these cats. I have to clean the tray about every 3 days or it will stink and I add a scoop of litter every day to the pan. These guys are 10 and 6 so you can teach even an older cat. Great buy for the money.

I actually loved this until it randomly stopped working, conveniently about a week after the return window closed. The sensor for the bottom bin says it is full, however I’ve emptied it and unplugged machine to resent it. Because of this, it is no longer functioning. I’ve had to message customer service three separate times to address this. Each time I was told I would receive a replacement however the seller never followed through. Don’t waste your time with this!

So far so good. A part was damaged, so they sent another replacement which I liked. It took my cat like 3 days and moving into the garage for her to finally understand the robo litter has replaced her litter box. It is quiet, easy to put together, and the app logging her excretion times are so cool. I've only had it for about a week so if necessary I will update. 7/28/26*****UPDATE*******Unfortunately, I had to have a replacement sent. The number 3 with it indicating the litter box full kept coming on. The first time I was able to fix it, which took about an hour of turning it off and on, cleaning the drum, running it a few cycles to repeatedly empty no litter than clean litter, etc etc. Worked for 2 days then indicated a full bin again. I did the same thing but this time installed the update and it still says full bin which prevents the drum from cleaning. I hope the new box does not give the same issue because it's a convenient and nice robo cleaner IF IT JUST WORKS!

This litter box is great. I love the app feature that lets you know when they’re using the box, how long they’ve used the box for, and when the tray underneath needs to be cleaned. My cats were not scared of this litter box at all. It is so quiet. I have not once heard the litter box when it’s cleaning, and it does a fantastic job cleaning. You have a lot of settings to choose from, your cat has no chances of getting stuck in it. The durability is good. I have 3 cats and fits all of them well. The value is great considering how expensive some other smart litter boxes are and they aren’t near as good as this one. The stability is great too. I highly recommend this litter box for one cat or even 3 like I have. One of my cats is a smaller girl around 7 pounds, my other female is 12 pounds, and my boy is a bit chunky he’s 16 pounds and they all fit comfortably.
