Full disclosure- I haven’t had a chance to do any sewing with it yet. But, so far I am pleased with the following: -assortment of colors -generous yardage per spool -pre-wound bobbins. Big time saver not having to wind them myself. Upon receipt, I thought they looked a little big for my Seammaster, but I unpacked and they seem to be identical to the metal bobbins that came with the machine, except they’re plastic. It was just the case making them appear larger. -speaking of the case, it’s excellent, best bobbin storage method I have had -thread strength is good. Knowing I may not be sewing in a timely manner, I took a close look at the threads for unevenness and other signs of quality issues and even tried very hard to break a couple of pieces. They’re smooth, and would not break. -love that the thread is poly, that means no shrinkage Finally I would like to say what a relief it is to know I am not going to have to shop for thread any time soon. It used to be easy to find in supermarkets and even drugstores, but those days are long gone. Fabulous item to have, and packed compactly too.

This is an excellent price for this quality thread set!! The color of these threads are very vibrant. They are also colorfast (I tested some strands in bleach and the color held fast) so they will not fade in color over time and washing. The variety of colors is nice to have, especially for those items that need mending, while you cannot have every color of thread on hand this is a nice set with a lot of common and neutral colors. I love that all the colors come pre-wound on a bobbin. Because the bobbins are a standard universal size they fit my Baby Lock sewing machine. The thread has great tensile strength, so breakage is not an issue. Because these threads are polyester they will not shed lint and clog up sewing machine like cotton thread. I must say I was not expecting this thread to be of this quality, but I am pleasantly surprised and definitely sold on this thread☺️

I love how many colors you get in this set! It was such a great value and the thread is more durable than I expected for not specifically being actual embroidery thread. I like to do small free hand embroidery designs for wall hanging and adding accents to accessories and clothing. These were easy to thread in my needles and don’t break easily when creating my designs. It is thinner than embroidery thread but thicker than some of the other threads I have used. I have spent so much money on getting individual threads so absolutely love this kit. Whether you are using this for repairing an item or creating lovely designs, this thread will work for you. There is a good amount on each bobbin so for my projects, I will get a lot of use out of each one and will have these for a long time before they run out.

Technically this set is really nice. Lots of thread in lots of colors… but the problem for me (hence the four stars) is that in my entire closet, I don’t have any clothes that matches 90% of the thread in this kit. Mind you, I have a lot of clothes. Blue jeans galore, T shirts, sweatshirts…. So many clothes. Yet I don’t have anything in three of the four shades of blue thread. Bright orange? No. Several shades of green? Nope - not the shades of green that are in this kit, anyway. For the few threads I can see myself actually using in the future, I think the quality is decent enough. I love the pre-wound bobbins and the needles too. The storage cases (more so for the bobbins) are decent. Overall, even though it’s a large assortment of thread, the value is not there for me. I would have been better off just buying six- eight colors of thread that I know I’ll use than having a large assortment of thread that realistically I may never use. That’s space wasted and needless stuff accumulated. Star Rating context: Everyone rates things a little differently, so let me explain the criteria I use for each star. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five stars: Absolutely the best, high quality, high durability, and exceeds expectations. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Four stars: Better than expected and has features and quality that make it stand out amongst similar items, but falls short of being exceptional. ⭐⭐⭐ Three stars: The item does what it was designed to do. It is perfectly average and nothing special. ⭐⭐ Two stars: It lacks in quality or durability or may be significantly different than how it was advertised. It may have major design flaws that make it difficult, awkward, or unpleasant to use or be visually unappealing, but is still useful to some degree. ⭐ One star: It does not do what it was intended to do, breaks easily, or is of such poor quality it is not usable.

This sewing thread kit has been really handy to have around. The color variety is great. You get 36 different shades, so it’s easy to find a close match without having to run out and buy more thread every time. Works well for basic repairs, small projects, and random fixes. The matching bobbins are a nice touch. It saves time not having to wind your own, especially if you’re switching colors a lot. Just drop it in and keep going. Thread quality has been solid so far. It runs smoothly through the machine and hasn’t been snapping or tangling. Stitches come out clean and consistent. I also like the storage case. Keeps everything organized instead of having spools rolling around in a drawer. Overall, it’s a practical set that covers most everyday sewing needs. I have a computerized sewing machine that can be very particular about threads, and this set works perfectly. The threads are high quality, and the colors are vibrant with a great variety to choose from. It also comes with bobbins—just make sure they are compatible with your machine. This polyester thread matches the quality of high-end brands. I would highly recommend it.
