  • Amazing product, truly appreciate it
Style: i206 AWD: Mows up to 0.15 acre
This is truly an amazing product. I have been spending too much on lawn maintenance, this solves the issue. Additionally I have tried another one where I could not add multiple maps, or zones etc. this one works amazing on zone and multiple maps. Did not have to use the antenna.

  • Amazing!
Style: i206 AWD: Mows up to 0.15 acre
Its path navigation can be a bit clumsy. However, it always makes it to the lawn and back. Once it reaches the lawn, it does a spectacular job.

  • Do Not buy this mower….
Style: i206 AWD: Mows up to 0.15 acre
Horrible. Could only get to go in 3 of 4 directions. Called Help Desk 4 times and they could not figure it out. App would not let me “map” my backyard due to 3 of 4 directions buttons only working. I watched instructional videos, googled, nothing would help. Don’t waste time and money. Get a different brand. Sent it back. ... show more

  • Great cut
Style: i206 AWD: Mows up to 0.15 acre
Cuts great. I am still having trouble similar to my old Husqvarna as they both would end up over the curb into the street

  • Good Mower, but not perfect
Style: i206 AWD: Mows up to 0.15 acre
It's a good upgrade from the 105N model that I was using. The battery is stronger, and the built-in seems to work better than the add-on that I bought for my 105N. The all-wheel drive is nice because one of my dogs loves to dig holes. However, the auto-mapping feature doesn't work for me. I have a fenced in yard with fruit trees, raised gardens, and a shed. When I first mapped, it went behind my shed to the fence and went up one side, across to the other, and then a little ways down before it did an about face and retraced its path to the charger. It said my yard was a strip about three-foot wide bordering the fence. The second time I did it, it went straight forward and told me a portion of my yard was a zone. Then I sent it searching for another, but it didn't find one until it was almost across my entire lawn. I guess everything in between didn't look like a yard to it. Anyway, the auto-mapping didn't work so I'll do it the old way and guide it around my yard. There is one point about the set up that I found troublesome for both of my Navimow mowers. To add a mower, it says to go to Settings, then Mower, and then Switch/Add device. That info is all over the Internet, including the Navimow site, but it's incorrect. The correct method is to go to Settings, scroll to the bottom and choose Device Management, and then Switch/Add device. Very good mower, except for the two problems that I outlined above. ... show more

  • Time saver
Style: i206 AWD: Mows up to 0.15 acre
First robotic mower experience and has been great. Bought this model in the presale with the garage, cellular connection for a year and extra blades. Set up took me like 1.5 hrs. Mapping has been great so far and have stayed within my non-fenced yard and off the street. It runs several times a week and I do a manual cut and trimming over the weekend. Love that switches mowing direction, charges in between sessions and returns to the previous location until completes the mowing. I set up 5 zones in a St. Augustin lawn .11 acres with several planting islands. Get this and enjoy life. ... show more

  • By far the best value in lawn mowing tech today
Style: i206 AWD: Mows up to 0.15 acre
The media could not be loaded. Quick overview first - I bought the original Segway Navimow i105 a couple years ago with my own money and loved it. The Segway Navimow i206 AWD (All Wheel Drive) is the successor I wanted, and it tackles areas of my lawn that the original could not manage. My first Navimow paid for itself the first year of operation and and this is an even better value since it’s headache free and avoids getting trapped in areas that were iffy for the original (meaning I can run it if I travel rather than have to pay for a one off mowing or ask family). If you’re looking for a top quality robotic mower with intuitive and reliable software (great app!), then this is the one for you. Take a look at the video I have added showing it successfully navigating the worst part of my lawn where other mowers would be stuck! Alright, now, if you’re a geek for smart home tech and robotics like I am, this is next part is for you. The i206 AWD covers up to 0.15 acres which is a small, but welcome bump in coverage to the first generation Navimow I had. My old i105 is a front-wheel drive (FWD) unit, and my lawn, even though I tried to keep it simple since I am the type to want to relax in my backyard instead of sweat and work in it during a Texas summer, has areas that are tricky. Anywhere I had moderate slopes greater than about 30% (17°) meant the original might struggle a bit. I tried to find solutions online and heard about some other home owners resorting to the use of aftermarket traction spikes. I opted to buy some additional top soil and sand and build up my turf in the worst areas. The i206 AWD adds motors to the rear wheels , giving it a three-wheel drive system. It can now handle slopes up to 45% (24°), uneven paths, and vertical steps up to about 1.50 inches. This makes a huge difference in the mower’s ability to navigate the weirdness of a typical lawn that isn’t somebody’s pet project! I think the wheels also offer better traction even though they look similar. Speaking of the wheels, one of the most obvious differences between the mowers I have is that the i206 AWD features 9.8-inch off-road wheels and automotive-grade Electronic Stability Control (ESC) that continuously adjusts wheel behavior on lateral and diagonal hills. My lawn slopes a little bit for drainage and the last robotic mower I had only used standard wheels without ESC and would occasionally become trapped. The i206 AWD also has what Segway markets as “Xero-turn steering” so the wheels don’t drag on your grass during pivots and turns. If you’re into getting crisp and beautiful stripe patterns on your lawn, you’ll be impressed. For me, it just means that this little guy can turn on a dime and ask for change! Handy when you’re asking it to mow corners and tight spaces. This mower has a 7.1-inch cutting width just like my last Navimow, but the i206 AWD upgrades the blade disc from 3 to 5 blades for better mowing efficiency and can cut my grass as low as 2 inches or as high as 3.6 inches which is nice when summer rolls around and I want to let the grass get a little closer to the 3-inch mark so it can shade itself a bit from intense sun. The i206 AWD has a 2.55 Ah battery with about an hour of mowing per charge and it takes about an hour to charge itself which is a faster charging speed than its predecessor which would usually take about an hour and a half to charge in my backyard. Trust the mower and let it do its thing when it comes to returning to its dock between mowing bits of your lawn. I use the app to tell it to mow my unfenced front yard only when I’m home and have it do that section first twice a week. I also let it mow the fenced backyard any time (including at night since its dead quiet) three days a week. It just mows until its battery gets low, heads back to the dock to recharge and then picks right back up where it left off. My only criticism is that some of the auto-mapping features during initial setup are a little oversold unless you already have a perfectly manicured lawn. I tried the one-click auto-mapping on my lawn and it did not work since I have some brown patches and areas where I’m trying to establish new grass. Because I was still pretty curious about this feature, I also tried setting it up at my father’s home and mapping his immaculate yard. It fared much better there. But I’m just a woman who wants to chill in my backyard on the weekend with a sparkling water and a good book rather than tend the lawn myself! If that’s how it is for you, don’t worry, setup is still a breeze in manual mode. Honestly, I’d recommend the manual setup for most people - you just drive the thing around your yard once like it’s a little remote control car and it’s good to go. No stupid laying copper wires or anything like that. Manual mode took me all of 4 minutes to get a good map made and it’s a one-time task. I also like that the i206 AWD has a built-in 4G module and doesn’t require an external antenna. This gives my lawn a cleaner look and it’s one less thing for me to worry about during setup. I’ll end by noting that the Segway app (at least on iOS) is awesome. I can start my lawn mower via the app while I’m working hundreds of miles away, or tell it to mow only the backyard using multi-zone management. The VisionFence obstacle avoidance works like a charm and means I’m not stressed out if I forget to bring in my hose or put down a bag of soil for use later. Similarly, automatic weather-adaptive mowing means I don’t have to worry if I’m out of town and it rains. I’ve set the thing up to pause mowing when grass would be wet to avoid damaging the yard or getting the mower super muddy. The i206 AWD also integrates with Alexa and Google Home for voice control which is probably pretty cool if you use those smart assistants. I’m deeply embedded in Apple’s HomeKit universe and really wish that Segway would offer HomeKit connectivity. This is probably the longest review I’ve ever written, but a robot mower is quite an investment, so I hope it’s helpful. I love this thing and it really saves me time and the expense and hassle of trying to coordinate mowing with a lawn company or doing it myself when it’s brutally hot outside. ... show more
