    • Not enough range for trucks
This tool worked fine but it does not have enough range for my F-250 calipers. I had to cut a 1/4" hardboard sheet to place in front of the tool so it would compress the pistons far enough. If they made the bolt 1/4" longer it would be fine. It should be just fine for cars.

I work as a mechanic and deal with all kinds of cars and I do hundreds of brake jobs and by far this has been the worst caliper compression tool I've ever used first caliper I tried using these on bent the paddles so much that the extension paddles don't fit anymore on top of that they constantly get stuck and jammed up and they don't even fit into all calipers especially on the rears would not recommend buying at all ... show more
