This is very nice stretch velvet. The quality is there, it does not have that cheap, costume-y feel some stretch velvets have. It has a nice hand, great drape, & feels like it will withstand being washed/dried without issue. There's good stretch & recovery. The color is depicted very accurately online, which I think is very impressive for velvet fabric. One thing to note, it was a scant yard. It measured just a little short of 36 inches (about 34 inches). That's before washing, so doesn't account for any potential shrinking. This fabric measures 58" selvedge to selvedge, so it has about 57" of useable fabric. The length is 35.5", so it's a half inch short of what was promised. The quality of the fabric is nice. The gray color is rich and lovely and will look nice paired with some other crushed velvet fabrics I already have in my stash. ... show more
