  • Level 3 includes Level 1 and Level 2 features; it is designed for someone who either loves to create designs or works commercially in the embroidery field. This level includes advanced items such as Styles, QuickStyles, an Eyelet tool, Carving lines, graphical operators such as Cut, AND, Union, Flatten, Inflate/Deflate, Re-construct and Break. It also allows for the content within the product to be expanded by publishing Motifs and Embossed effects. Additional controls are available to work how you like. Font makers and patch creators will find special tools exclusive to StitchArtist 3 for scaleable BX font publishing, faux-overlock edges, and full-stack patch digitizing.
  • StitchArtist is not a photo-to-stitch or autodigitizing program. It focuses on straightforward design creation and enabling users to learn embroidery digitizing fundamentals. If you want to make designs for hobby, cottage industry, or professional use, this is for you. If you really want to learn to digitize, StitchArtist will give you the control you need to create any design and know how it's put together.
  • Most users will begin by importing an image they want to embroider over which they'll draw objects that will be stitched, over the artwork. You create the shapes, set their order, and select their stitch properties. Those familiar with any drawing software will feel comfortable with StitchArtist. When assigning stitches to shapes, you have freedom to change your mind at any time; any shape can be used for any stitch type.
  • Stitch generation is instant and automatic. There are no mode changes for selection, editing, coloring, moving, sizing, rotating or adjusting properties.
  • If you already own StitchArtist Level 1 or Level 2 do not buy this. You can just buy StitchArtist Upgrade Level 1 to Level 3 or StitchArtist Level 2 to Level 3.

Not easy to learn, but with time, and lots of it, you can get by. It has some really great features. Can’t wait to invest more time to learn the software.

    • Great Product , however no manual of instructions included with purchase.
The product itself I love. The low rating is rated because of their Customer Services. After much frustration and using Google I did discover how to add it to my Essentials. However, you should include this information along with the CD case to let people know this important information. As well, a manual should come with your product. Asking a customer to find a download for the manual is beyond professional with sales. Put yourself in place of your customer. If you purchased a rather expensive item and it came without instructions or a manual, would you be pleased with your purchase? I am sure this would cause you much aggravation as it did me as well as others I have read about during my internet search for information on my purchase. As well, when I pay them over $800.00 for two programs, I should not have to do internet research to find out how to install the program. I find this as your Customer Service lacking in professionalism in the products in which they sell. In my opinion, customer service is 90%of a sale! Please take my criticism as a helpful suggestion to gain more customers. This purchase, could very well influence my future purchases from them. ... show more

Recommendation: DO NOT BUY The software works really well, and there is a lot of support for it, but it has no future. The developer has stated that they do not have any planned updates, which basically means that it is dead. It currently has the extremely outdated Windows 95 look and feel, which will eventually stop working under Windows and MacOS. I was hoping that they would be working on bringing the application into the future, but they don't. Because of this, I have started looking at the many alternatives to replace it. I would expect this to continue working at least through 2024, but once Microsoft pulls the plug on this type of application, it will no longer work. The other embroidery applications that I have started looking at, have many new features, so it's going to be tough deciding on a replacement. Best of luck to everyone. ... show more
